We like to imagine that if we were famous and wealthy our lives would be perfect, but that’s just not true.

Even celebrities live through personal tragedies, from breakups and setbacks to the worst tragedy of all, losing a child. You’ll remember some of these cases because they were very public, but others were kept private for years, or even decades.

If you still think that movie stars and musicians have perfect lives, read this list of 17 big stars whose children died much too young.

This country star’s had a lot of tragedy in her long life. Her father died before she ever became famous, and she’s outlived two of her children. Her son Jack Benny Lynn died trying to ford a river on a horse, and her daughter Betty Sue passed away in 2013 from emphysema.

This comedienne’s son Richard shot himself accidentally at age 24. There had been a rash of home invasions in his neighborhood, so he had a gun to protect himself. One day he was playing with it and it fired by accident.

This Bond actor has had his share of sadness. His wife, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, died of ovarian cancer in 1991. Years later, the couple’s daughter Charlotte would pass away after a fight with the same disease.

Between her own children and the 10 she’s adopted, this star of Hannah and Her Sisters has raised 14 kids, but some have sadly passed away. Three of her adopted children have died: son Tam died at age 19 from a heart condition, her daughter Lark died from unrevealed causes at age 35, and her son Thaddeus committed suicide when he was 27.

The former vice president has been married twice. His first wife and their daughter Naomi were killed in a car crash that also sent his sons Beau and Hunter to the hospital. Tragically, the singer for Led Zeppelin was on tour when his 5-year-old son Karac died of a stomach infection.

It was headline news when this English rock star’s young son Conor fell out a window left open by a cleaning lady. Clapton’s song “Tears in Heaven” was inspired by Conor’s death.

The reclusive musician kept his personal life very private, so you may not have known that he had a son with backup singer Mayte Garcia. Ahmir Gregory Nelson was born in 1996 with a rare skull disorder, and died just week after he was born.

Exodus, one of the boxer’s 8 children, was accidentally strangled by a cord hanging on a treadmill.

This Hollywood couple prove that even with wealth and fame, tragedy can still strike at any time. During a family vacation in the Bahamas, their son Jett slipped in the bath and died of a seizure. Travolta founded the Jett Travolta Foundation, which helps children with special needs, in his son’s honor.

16 Secrets They Didn’t Want You To Know About Getting On A Game Show

So many people dream of one day competing on a game show. Going on Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune seems like such a fun way to win a lot of money and test yourself. The problem is, how do you actually do it? It seems like one of those things that happens to other people but never to anyone you know.

The process of being on a game show is not as glamorous as you may have dreamed. Here are 16 secrets about the making of game shows that they don’t want you to know.

1. Anyone can take the online test to be on Jeopardy

There is an online test that has you answer 50 questions in 15 minutes. They don’t let you know how you did unless you get over their set percentage (rumor is 80-85{49382ccf8aa3307257579caf6f867159d328eca730a0976815a1bacefc5bc6ee}) and then if you do you will be invited to an in-person audition.

2. Prize values tend to be inflated for effect

They tend to oversell items for effect but by doing so it will is actually making it worse for the winners because they will have to pay the taxes of the listed price. The contestants can try to argue for the real-market value in court but can take months to settle.

3. People will buy your prizes off you right after the show

Right after you leave the studio, there are apparently people who will offer you money for the stuff you just won. They however offer it at less than the inflated prices the game pretended it was worth but at least you won’t have to figure out how to get a year supply of Rice-A-Roni into your carry on.

4. The podiums for contestants are tricky

There is little adjustable platforms so everyone can be the same height. This will make the shooting a lot easier.

5. Taping the show is almost worse than jury duty.

When you are taping the show you are sequestered with your fellow contestants by network compliance officers who even follow you to the bathroom. You are not allowed to talk to audience member, the host or anyone. This is to prevent cheating but makes for a very long day.

6. They tape a weeks worth of shows PER DAY

Pat Sajak and Vanna White get little 15 minute breaks between shows so they can switch up their outfits and then they film some more.

7. You don’t always get the money right away.

Sure it looks like they hand the contestants a big wad of cash, but that is just for show. Instead they mail you a check after the fact.

8. And, they aren’t as surprised as they may seem

They are actually recruited to be on the show, it is all staged. They are often found at trivia nights and asked to be on the show.

9. The phone a friend option is kind of a huge deal.

You needed to have 5 different options of people who all had landlines and would be available for the entire day so it wouldn’t matter when your episode was filmed.

10. You CANNOT have a Plinko chip

Apparently there are only 10 in the world because they cost a lot to make. (Although I bet if Bob Barker asked for one they’d let him take one)

11. Even big shows like Jeopardy don’t pay for your stay

You don’t get any kind of compensation for your hotel or travel costs, so you better hope you win some money! At least even 2nd and 3rd prize get $2000 and $1000 respectively so there is something they can put towards flights.

12. Jeopardy will however do your makeup

They don’t want you to be shiny on camera so they will do your makeup. You do however have to do your own hair.

13. People get really angry at you whether you win or lose

People get REALLY invested in these games and will go after former contestants. After Ken Basin was on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and got the $1 million question wrong he says people were emailing him at his work address with comments like “Kill yourself, you’re an arrogant douche and you give lawyers a bad name.” That’s quite the reaction for people who get no benefit from him winning. A female contestant who was on Jeopardy shared that she receives a lot of creepy messages still over a year later of people making vulgar statements about her body and proposing marriage.

14. Certain contestants make a living out of playing game shows

Some contestants hop from game to game as long at the contracts they sign allow. Every once and a while they will need to take a year or two off between appearances but a lot of people have been on many different shows. It is tricky for new contestants to try to compete to make it in because the veterans are more comfortable with the audition process and have an easier time making it onto the show.

15. Things aren’t the same at filming as they are on TV.

The questions aren’t actually showing up on the screens for the contestants so they have to actually listen to Alex careful while keeping in mind the timing for the buzzer. Also they edit out any fumbles or challenges of wrong answers.

16. Producers are looking for specific people to fill the roles.

They want people who are excited, but not too excited that it seems fake. They also want you to look “TV-Ready” whatever that means and they want you to have some fun facts ready to go.

What do you think, would you ever want to go on a game show? Let us know in the comments!

Another Duggar Sister Has Given Birth

The Duggar kids club is certainly growing at a fast rate!

Jessa (Duggar) Seewald and her husband Ben Seewald welcomed their second child on February 6th at 4:26 in the morning!

“We are so happy to announce the arrival of our sweet second son,” the couple said in a statement. “He was born at 4:26 a.m. this morning, weighing 8 lbs. and 11 oz., and measuring 21 3/4 in. long. Mom and baby are both doing well. We are so thankful to God for this precious new gift of life and are excited to be a family of four! Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes!”

The couple are already parents to their first son, Spurgeon, who is 14 months old.

Jessa said that this pregnancy involved way more morning sickness than her first pregnancy. Popcorn, chicken, and coffee were all things that made her feel sick.

“I’ve had way more food aversions,” she said. “We couldn’t even have them in the house.”

Jessa, 24 and Ben, 21, wed in 2014 and always voiced their excitement about having kids. They also suggested that adoption might be something they consider, in addition to natural birth.

There has been no name revealed for baby #2 as of yet, but with a big brother named Spurgeon, it’s hard to imagine it will be a traditional one!

Congratulations to Jessa, Ben, Spurgeon, and the newest Duggar-Seewald!

The Are Only 28 Films To Have Reached The $1 Billion Mark

Tori Spelling has had a tough few months.

In March, police were called to check in on the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress after suffering from a reported “nervous breakdown.”

“The last year has been really tough on Tori. She has a ton of pressure and stress, with the kids, work and her

David Beckham Caught In Blackmail Scandal Over Leaked Emails

Things just got a little messy for David Beckham.

The sports superstar is in the middle of what’s being deemed “BeckiLeaks.” Hackers have accessed 18.6 million emails that were sent over 3 years, all of which contain damaging content towards Beckham’s image.

Beckham was blackmailed for £1million ($1.2 million USD) so the emails wouldn’t get out, but the athlete refused to pay.

The emails were released, and Beckham’s “good guy” image has certainly taken a hit.

The emails document Beckham’s communication with his PR staff, voicing his displeasure in not being knighted, even though he’s done so much charity work. In one of the emails, he called the Honours Committee “unappreciative c***s.” When offered accolades lower than knighthood, his response was “Unless it’s a knighthood f*** off”.

The emails also contain slanderous comments towards singer Katherine Jenkins, who has an OBE.

“Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F***ing joke'”

Beckham also was given an OBE in 2003.

The athlete is rumored to have defended his emails to close friends, saying he is just a “normal person” who was “extremely disappointed to not get a knighthood.”

David Beckham’s PR adviser, Simon Oliveira, says these emails are “hacked and doctored” to “give a deliberately inaccurate picture”.

The emails also show David Beckham throwing a fit because Unicef (a charity he works closely with) asked him to contribute to the charity himself.

“Chloe asked me outright which I was p***ed off about . . . I don’t want to do it and won’t do it with my own money.”

Unicef has defended David Beckham, whose Unicef 7 fund has raise more than £4.3million since 2015 to help children all over the world.

Unicef has defended the global star, with the following tweet coming from their deputy executive director:

Beckham himself hasn’t spoken publicly about the ordeal, but his son Brooklyn took to Instagram to show a sweeter side of the mega-star. It shows David hugging his 4-year-old daughter Harper during a thunderstorm.

This is the biggest scandal to hit the international icon, and it definitely shows a different side than the public is used to.

Do these emails change your perception of David Beckham? Or do you think there’s something strange about them?

These Gene Wilder Bloopers Are Guaranteed To Make You Laugh

Gene Wilder is one of the all time best actors, known for his amazing ability to transform himself into any character. His roles are iconic and it’s hard to imagine him as anything but the perfect actor. Luckily for us, everyone messes up and when you are an actor it is caught on film forever.

In my opinion bloopers are one of the greatest things you can watch. It shows you how much work went into the making of a movie and more often than not gives you some hilarious insight into the personalities of the cast. Gene Wilder is known for being super professional all the time, but even he couldn’t keep it together when filming Young Frankenstein.

His giggles with his costars are too adorable and really will make you miss him even more than you did. Check out these amazing bloopers from one of the best actors of all time.

Can You Name This Country Music Legend?

Within the country music world, there is a hierarchy of country royalty.

Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Reba, just to name a few.

But I think it’s safe to say that Garth Brooks is pretty darn close to the top of that list.

The 55-year-old music legend has released 14 studio albums, 13 Grammy nominations (2 wins), and has won 22 Academy of Country Music Awards. He has also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Award. Top that with being in the Country Music Hall of Fame, and Brooks has solidified his status as King of Country.

Garth has been around for a while, and this performance of “Friend In Low Places” from 1990 is just a big throwback. It really show us how far country music has come, and how even the best songs can stand the test of time!

10 Surprising Secrets From The Set Of Little House On The Prairie

There is nothing quite like watching a classic television show, and one of the best of the bests was Little House On The Prairie. Something about that show resonated with everyone.

The show ran for an impressive nine seasons between 1974 to 1982 but its the behind the scenes secrets that are truly fascinating. Here are 10 interesting secrets from the set of Little House On The Prairie.

1. Laura and Mary did not get along

Melissa Gilbert and Melissa Anderson have never really bonded, even in the years since the show ended they never really made up.

2. Pa’s hair was not real

The show wanted him to look “more rugged” so his grey hair wouldn’t do.

3. At age 15, the actress who played Laura wasn’t ready for her first kiss so she changed it

She was supposed to kiss her love interest Manley, but she was too nervous. She instead decided she would kiss him on the cheek. When they eventually did film the kiss there had to be chaperones on set because of the large age difference.

4. The actress who plays Nellie was almost cast as Laura

She was originally auditioning for Laura, then as her sister Mary When she didn’t get either of those parts they hired her immediately to play Nellie because she was very good at being mean.

5. Michael Landon was a bit of a show off

He was super proud of his muscles and would use any opportunity to take off his shirt. He was however a little bit self conscious about his height and would wear 4″ platforms to try to appear taller.

What other secrets came from the set?

6. A lot of big stars got their start on Little House On The Prairie

The little boy on the left is actually Jason Bateman! Two other big stars who got their start on this show are Shannen Doherty and Sean Penn.

7. Their dinner was always finger-lickin’ good

KFC was often used when they were filming dinner scenes. The also used Dinty Moore brand beef stew for all other meals.

8. Melissa Gilbert was growing up too fast for the producers so they tried to slow it down

No one is really a fan of puberty, but when you are filming a television show it becomes extra tricky. The producers decided to bind her chest so she would continue to look younger for longer.

9. Nellie’s hair wasn’t actually that perfect

Another wig! And a fairly high maintenance one at that. The curls had to be held in place by a metal comb and sharp hairpins that dug into the actresses scalp and would sometimes cause it to bleed. No wonder she was so nasty!

10. Landon made the kids cry

He was actually helping them though, not just doing it for fun. There were a lot of scenes where the child actors needed to cry on cue but it wasn’t easy for them. He would make himself cry first and then look at the kids and say “do you know how much I love you?” and they would cry pretty much every time.

“Gwyneth’s Tidy Pantry” Is Just The Start Of This Hilarious Blooper [Video]

Every episode of ITV’s This Morning is a fun adventure with hosts Phil Schofield and Holly Willoughby, but last week the pair had a bit of trouble making the promo for their next episode.

It seems simple enough: the next episode would explain Botox and fillers, why antenatal classes have Anton du Beke freaking out (say that three times fast) and show how to keep your pantry as tidy as Gwyneth Paltrow’s. Unfortunately, the moment these lines came out of Phil’s mouth he descended into a giggling fit.

The offending word seems to be “tidy,” but even swapping lines with Holly couldn’t stop this train wreck. Phil seems to think rushing to say his line as fast as possible would keep him from laughing, but you can see that wasn’t the case.

After a few minutes any hope of saving the promo was lost, but the hosts knew their gaffe would make it to the week’s “best bits” video.

In case you’re wondering, here’s Gwyneth Paltrow’s tidy pantry, which they couldn’t help but trip over.

9 Facts You Never Knew About The Late, Great Gary Coleman

Think you know everything there is to know about the Diff’rent Strokes star? What’choo talkin bout?!

You may have seen every episode of his hit show, but Gary Coleman had lots of secrets and scandals you probably never heard about. From his huge success as a child star to his troubled later years, Coleman lived the life of a true Hollywood star.

Here are 9 facts about the tiny talent you didn’t know!

1. Diff’rent Strokes was basically made just for him

Coleman began his career acting in TV commercials and modeling clothes. He impressed NBC’s president Fred Silverman so much, he was picked to star in a revival of Little Rascals. When the show fell apart, Silverman cast him in Diff’rent Strokes instead.

2. He didn’t earn a star’s salary

When the show started, Coleman was paid less than $2,000 per episode. It took years of negotiations for him to get his due, but eventually he was making as much as $100,000 a show. Still, Coleman lost as much as 75{49382ccf8aa3307257579caf6f867159d328eca730a0976815a1bacefc5bc6ee} of his money to his lawyers, taxes and his parents (who were also his managers).

3. Coleman was gifted at more than comedy

The young star learned to read by age 3, which made him seem much more grown up than other kids. When Coleman auditioned for roles, casting agents would often assume he was just a short adult auditioning for kids’ roles.

4. He hated his famous catchphrase

Writers for Diff’rent Strokes were careful not to overuse Coleman’s famous line “whatchoo talkin bout Willis?” so audiences wouldn’t get bored of it. But while America was obsessed with the line, Coleman got fed up with it quickly. By 1990 he refused to say the line in public.

5. There was a reason for his short size

Coleman was born with two defective kidneys, and he received transplants for both by age 16. When he was a child, Coleman took drugs for the condition that affected his growth plates, so he never grew above 4’8″ tall.

6. He was on all your favorite shows

While Coleman has made guest appearances on shows like The Simpsons and Drake and Josh, his character Arnold from Diff’rent Strokes also appeared on lots of shows, like Silver Spoons and The Facts of Life. Arnold’s last cameo was on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air .

7. Coleman famously took some odd jobs..

Remember when we mentioned how most of Coleman’s TV money went to other people? Later in life the star ended up working as a security guard on Hollywood film sets to pay the bills.

8….and went to desperate lengths to raise money

One of Coleman’s sources of income was selling signed memorabilia, including a pair of signed pants that were bought by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

9. Even his hobbies were miniature

The most common place fans would run into Gary Coleman was at their local model train store. The actor loved assembling and collecting these models, including one diorama that featured 800 feet of tracks – which is 171 Gary Coleman’s long, in case you were wondering.

Celine Dion Becomes Part Of This Couple’s History, Much To Her Surprise

Celine Dion has seen lots of things during her time in show business. But from the looks of it, she hasn’t seen anything like this!

Nick Janevski and Austin McMillan have been dating for six months and instantly knew there was a connection. The two were introduced at their gym by McMillan’s cousin and they became inseparable.

After a short period of time, both Nick and Austin knew they wanted to be together forever. Nick was looking for a way to propose to Austin, but he wanted it to be perfect.

When Nick went to pick up Austin one day, he noticed she was blasting Celine Dion and from then on he would play it whenever she got in the car. That’s how he thought of this perfect idea.

“My mom raised me on Celine because she’s a huge Celine Dion fan,” says Austin.

Luckily enough, Nick had been a personal trainer for Celine Dion’s manager and he set up a meet and greet for the couple after one of her concerts. Austin freaked out, not knowing what she would say to her music idol in the 30 short seconds. Little did she know, meeting Celine was only the second most exciting thing to happen that night.

During their meet and greet, Nick got down on one knee and proposed to Austin. AWWWW!

But what makes it even better is the look on Celine Dion’s face!

Clearly her manager wanted it to be a surprise for EVERYONE!

Austin said she was so stunned, she didn’t even say yes!

“I didn’t even say yes… for like two whole minutes I was just shocked. I just looked at Celine Dion and then we both looked at him … I just kissed him.”

Celine Dion joked, “Should I even be here?”

But Dion knew she was witnessing something special, and offered her blessing to the happy couple.

“I hope you have a long and happy marriage, just like I did with my husband,” Dion said.

There hasn’t been a date set for the wedding as of yet, but my guess is Celine gets an invitation.

One Of The Judges On The Voice Made A Terrible Mistake

On the U.K. version of The Voice, one of the judges has had an interesting mistake that made the entire audience laugh. Will.i.am was drawing on his buzzer before Lawrence Hill began to sing his song. The problem was, Will.i.am tried to wipe the marks off his buzzer as Hill began to sing but accidentally pressed down too hard on the button and caused his chair to turn.

The point of The Voice is to sing well enough to get the judges to show their interest by turning around, so you could only imagine how thrilled Hill was when Will.i.am turned around so soon into his number. The audience had seen Will.i.am’s awkward expression as he began to swivel, so they were a little bit worried.

When the song was finished Will.i.am was honest with the singer and told him how he was actually just rubbing off the face he drew, but just as Hill’s smile and hope started to fade, Will.i.am added that he thinks maybe it was destiny that caused him to turn around by accident because he actually liked his singing.

Check out this hilarious moment that will probably make Will.i.am a little more cautious around that button!

Child Star’s Secret Struggle Ended In Tragedy

There are some tragic stories that are almost too outrageous to believe. The story of Judith Eva Barsi is one of these stories. While you may not recognize her name, you will no doubt know her voice. She was a very successful voice actress as a child, voicing so many of your favorite characters like Ann-Marie in “All Dogs Go To Heaven” and Ducky in “The Land Before Time”.

By only age 7 she had found something she loved to do and was able to make good money doing it. Apparently she was making in the upwards of $100,000 per year voicing characters and she enjoyed to do it.

Even though her life seemed like a dream, she was actually suffering greatly. While she loved getting to voice different characters, at home her father was a dangerous and scary man. Jozsef was an abusive alcoholic whose angry behavior increased as his daughters successful career started to take off.

As her career became the most important thing in their family, Judith’s father’s attitude continued to get worse.

Jozsef would routine threaten to kill himself and Judith along with her mother Maria. By 1986 Maria reported him to the police, but eventually dropped the charges because there were no physical signs of abuse. The violence continued with him throwing pots and pans and other objects at his young daughter. She began coping with unusual behavior like picking out all her eyelashes and her cat’s whiskers.

When Judith broke down in an audition for All Dogs Go To Heaven she was sent to a child psychologist who discovered the severe abuse she was facing and reported it to Child Protective Services. When Maria found out about the report, she claimed she was filing for a divorce so they wouldn’t take away her daughter. They had planned to move away from Jozsef but unfortunately she was too afraid.

On July 25, 1988 at the age of 10, Judith was seen riding her bike in the morning but later that night when she was sleeping Jozef shot her in the head closely followed by her mother.

Two days later her spoke with Judith’s agent and said he was moving out of the home after he “says goodbye to his little girl” but then poured gasoline over their bodies and around the house and set it on fire. While the house was burning he headed to the garage and took his own life.

She and her mother were buried in the Hollywood Hills in California without any markers until 2004 where a stone was added that had her signature catchphrase from The Land Before Time on it because it was her favorite role to play.

Hard to believe someone could do such a terrible thing to anyone, let alone their own daughter. If you think you see a child in need of help, speak up and call the authorities to help.

Happy Birthday Cancer! Here’s Your Year Ahead 2017

This year, Cancer, listen to the cues your body gives you about the changes that need to happen in your life.

If you notice that you’re feeling particularly tense lately, take a moment to step back and look at the situations surrounding that moment of tension. What were you thinking of? What needs to change?

You’ll notice that this year is one of clearing and purging. Take every opportunity to really get down to what matters most and simplify your relationships, work and home life.

You’ve had a rough start this year with mercury retrograde in the first few days of January, but don’t let that dampen your spirits, Cancer!

You’ll want to lay low for the first half of the year when it comes to love. Try to  focus more on the relationship you have with yourself in the meantime. Remember you can’t expect others to love you, if you don’t love yourself!

Lunar eclipse in August will give you the chance to clean house and eliminate negative people from your life.

You’ll notice a shift towards the positive for you in October, when Jupiter move into you love sector and Mars will join it in mid-December.

You’ll get your second chance at romance in December, when Saturn in your relationship sector lines up beautifully with Jupiter. This makes for an excellent time to enter into a serious relationship – you’re focusing on taking an existing partnership to the next level, or you’re looking for the one.

Focus on having healthy relationships this time around.

Saturn is in your work sector until December. This can be the year when you see your project through – making smarter, work-life choices that bring balance and solid success.

Mars drives your career plans forward in February, so get everything into gear this month – line all your ducks up in a row and get as much done as you can. You’ll need the cushion to get you through the coming retrogrades next month.

The February 11 lunar eclipse in you money sector is a great time to eliminate bad financial habits and settle financial issues.
