“I want my boys to have an understanding of people’s emotions, their insecurities, people’s distress and their hopes and dreams.”

“Hugs can do great amounts of good, especially for children.”

“I live for my sons. I would be lost without them.”

“Family is the most important thing in the world.”

“A mother’s arms are more comforting than anyone else’s.”

While millions mourned her loss, it was felt no more deeply than by her two sons, princes William and Harry. It’s certain that these men, who grew up in the public eye, remember a very different Diana – one who loved and protected them more than anyone else could ever know.

No matter who you are – a princess or a pauper – there is one thing that binds mothers together: the unconditional love they have for their children.

Here are a few more things Diana said about her family that are still true for many of us today:

“I don’t go by the rule book. I lead from the heart, not the head.”

“I don’t want expensive gifts; I don’t want to be bought. I have everything I want. I just want someone to be there for me, to make me feel safe and secure.”

“I wish all the mothers, fathers and children out there realize how much I need them and how much I value their support.”

“If you find someone you love in life, you must hang onto it, and look after it, and if you were lucky enough to find someone who loved you, then you must protect it.”

“Everyone of us needs to show how much we care for each other and, in the process, care for ourselves.”

“Don’t call me an icon. I’m just a mother trying to help.”

Mom Makes Big Announcement, But Her Son Can’t Believe She Did This To Him Again

She couldn’t wait to tell her babies the good news, so she pressed record and broke it to her oldest baby, Tray.

Once he heard what his mom had to say, Tray couldn’t believe what she had done. Wasn’t it enough that she already had TWO babies? Why does she need another?

Clearly, Tray doesn’t want to share his mother’s love with another sibling. This is not logical for this little boy – why would a mom want another baby after she already has two!

His reaction is pretty hilarious, but we’re sure that he’s going to be a wonderful big brother to baby number 3!

Watch Tray’s interview with Ellen, he’s still pretty unimpressed with his mom’s decision to have another baby, but he’s resigned himself to the inevitable…

Isn’t he adorable in his bow tie? This ‘exasperated’ big brother certainly is a charming boy!

Selfless ‘Grandpa’ Makes Sure These Sick Kids Never Have To Be Alone

In a children’s hospital in Atlanta, one man is helping to make all parents feel a little more comfortable while their babies are in the ICU. Having your child in intensive care is incredibly stressful. You might not be able to go see them every day, but luckily that’s where the ‘ICU Grandpa’ steps in!

The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is a temporary home for a lot of sick babies. They need a lot of love and care, and sometimes having someone hold them actually helps. One volunteer realized that parents couldn’t always be there, so he decided to donate his time to helping the tiny babies get some extra love.

What he does means a lot to the moms who come to the hospital, including Mary Beth Brulette who always felt bad about leaving her baby.

The ‘ICU Grandpa’ is actually David Deutchman, a volunteer with the hospital for the last 12 years. He has been there to comfort babies and parents for over a decade, giving parents a much needed break when they need it.

Every week he spends his Tuesdays in the PICU to spend time with the premature babies whose parents aren’t able to be there.  Then on Thursdays he goes to the NICU to visit with the other babies.

Brulette was travelling two hours to the hospital each day to see her baby. “Every morning I get here as soon as I can, but I’m always anxious that he’s alone, and he’s missing Mommy,” she said.

Until one time when she arrived to see her son in “Grandpa’s” arms. “When I saw Grandpa, I of course started crying. Because it was so precious and he was so cozy in his arms and Grandpa was just as happy as can be, as if it was his own grandchild,”

Deutchman loves what he does. He said, “Some of my guy friends, they ask me what I do here. And I say, ‘well, I hold babies. I get puked on, I get peed on,’ and they say why would you do that?! Some people just don’t understand the kind of reward you would get from holding a baby like this. It’s been wonderful because it gives me something to do that has meaning to it.”

It’s kind people like David the ‘ICU Grandpa’ who make this world a better place!

Mom Captures The Perfect Moment Her Son Starts Singing To His Baby Sister And The Song Is A Classic

As the oldest child, I spent the first four years of my life being the center of my parents’ attention.

When my parents first told me that they were having another baby, I didn’t fully comprehend what that meant for me as a big sister. So the day my brother came home was one that I will never forget. I had to adjust to sharing my parents and it was not easy.

I was jealous and envious of how much my mom and dad as well as everyone else paid attention to him. I eventually got over it, and over the years we formed an unbreakable bond.

While it took me sometime to accept having a sibling, there are some kids that embrace their new role as soon as they meet their little brother or sister. They’ll even go the extra mile to show their love, and for one boy, singing to his baby sister was how he went about it.

A mother was lucky enough to catch her son and daughter sharing the cutest moment ever, so she made sure to film it and share her joy with the rest of the world. The video has since amassed millions of views and it’s not hard to see why.

In the video, the boy is holding his sister on his lap as he sings to her the sweetest song. Instead of opting for a nursery rhyme like most kids his age would, this big brother gazes into his sister’s eyes and starts to serenade her with Joe Crocker’s 1975 hit “You Are So Beautiful.”

He even cradles her face as he sings, and clearly, he’s doing a great job because the little girl appears to be enjoying the tune.

“Aww, she smiled!” he says at the end of the song, and then gives her kisses on the forehead. It’s unbelievably cute!

Unlike my mother and father all those years ago, the parents of this brother-sister pair can sleep peacefully knowing how much their firstborn loves his new sister.

Hopefully, this bond only gets stronger as they grow up. While a lot of siblings bicker and fight, it’s clear that these two will be grow up to be different. If he keeps on being this sweet, then this girl is really lucky to have him in her life because he will, without a doubt, always have her back.
