These Celebs Have Changed So Much Since Their First Head Shots, Can You Even Recognize Them?

Just because someone is rich and famous, it doesn’t mean they’re perfect.

Now that almost every celebrity has a social media page, we get to know almost everything about their lives.

They seem to love sharing it, and fans aren’t going to miss out on the opportunity to see what these famous faces are up to.

Many celebrities are shamed, judged, or called out on the things they believe in, but sometimes they do things

5 Reasons You Definitely Shouldn’t Get Back with your Ex

Exes are a tricky thing to navigate. The adult in you wants to be mature about it and see the good, but the child in you wants to post embarrassing Snapchat screenshots of them all over social media. There’s a very delicate balance that needs to be reached. But sometimes there’s a nagging little voice in your head that says “Well…maybe he just needs a second chance?” Ehhhh, probably not your best idea. But I can understand how confusing it all can be. So here’s a list of reasons why it’s probably a good reason to stay away.

You may be the one dating him, but your friends are the ones that have to accept him for who he is without the promise of cuddles at the end of the night. If your friends don’t like the guy you’re dating, there’s probably a great reason why. Sure, sometimes friends can be over-protective, but it doesn’t mean they’re wrong. You need to listen when they say, “Hey, listen. Jeremy tried to set the house on fire last night while you were in the bathroom.” You can’t just play that off as him trying to warm the place up because you said it was cold.

“He probably didn’t answer right away because he was saving the life of a drowning kitten and his phone fell into the river.” Honey, you and I both know that you live in the middle of the city with no close bodies of water. And I’m also pretty sure his phone is glued to his hands. The more you have to make up excuses for unanswered texts, blown off plans, or just a bad attitude in general, the higher the chance he’s just an idiot and you deserve better.

I get it. We all do. The older you get and the longer you’ve been single, the more you crave having someone to be with. And it’s not because you can’t live independently, but it would just be nice to have someone who wants you. But that is no excuse to get back into a bad relationship. Embrace the alone time. Sleep like a starfish, eat on the couch, wear sweatpants all the time. It’s better to be by yourself and happy, than be with someone else and miserable.

If you have actually come to terms with a breakup and then find yourself catching new and improved™ feelings for the guy, then okay maybe you can THINK about giving another chance. But if you never got over him to begin with, odds are you’re just running off feelings fumes. They can last a long time, trust me. Getting over someone is an important step in the healing process. You can’t try and restart a relationship using the feelings from a bad one.

Princess Diaries gave us a sure-fire way to know if a guy is “the one.” Does he make your foot pop? It’s when you have a perfect moment with a perfect man and your foot just…pops. Full-blown pop, too. Not a hover, or a twitch. A full fairy-tale pop. If your ex doesn’t do that for you, then it’s not meant to be. Your gut always knows what’s best for you, or in this case your reflexes. It may seem like a weird way to pick a romantic partner, Anne Hathaway ends up with Chris Pine in the Princess Diaries movies so it’s definitely worth taking a chance on.

“This Is Us” Star Only Had 81 Cents Before Auditioning

If you thought your bank account was low, “This Is Us” star Chrissy Metz revealed she only had 81 cents in her account when she went in for the audition to play Kate Pearson.

Metz, who has shot to fame with her role on the hit NBC drama, says she was riddled with credit card debt and was nearly homeless before she landed the part.

Although Metz appeared in the popular American Horror Story, she said there weren’t any job opportunities or auditions for her once her role was over.

But the actress says it was her mom’s supportive advice that made her keep going: “You can either be miserable here and not pursue your dreams, or you can be miserable in L.A. and at least pursue what you want.”

In an interview with glamour, Metz described what her life was coming to before Kate Pearson:

“I kept auditioning, with no savings and no money, credit card debt gaining interest. I went on unemployment. I bought ramen noodles at dollar stores. I never had to—God forbid—live on the streets; I moved in with a roommate who told me, “Stay with me until you can afford rent. Don’t give up.” People who supported me were like, “If you don’t have money for food, I’ll cook you dinner. You don’t have money for acting class? Let’s get together and read lines.” I am so grateful that I had such an amazing support system, but when I booked This Is Us, I had 81 cents in my bank account. I could cry right now just thinking about it.”

“I’ve had women — average women, older women, teenagers — who say to me, ‘Your role and this show has changed my life.’ That makes all the struggle, all the ramen noodles, all the times when I couldn’t pay my bills, all the times where I was like, ‘I can’t do this,’ worth it,” Metz said. “Sometimes I cry on the way to the set still. There is something that happens when you are grateful: You continue to keep receiving blessings. So I will always be grateful.”

Metz has certainly come a long way from her 81 cents. The Golden Globe nominated actress and her show have been picked up for another 36 episodes. This Is Us is receiving international accolades.

Keep on being you, Chrissy Metz. Your strength is inspiring to people everywhere.

The Are Only 28 Films To Have Reached The $1 Billion Mark

Tori Spelling has had a tough few months.

In March, police were called to check in on the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress after suffering from a reported “nervous breakdown.”

The caller who dialed 911 told the dispatcher that Spelling had been behaving aggressively, which was later believed to be triggered from stress.

“The last year has been really tough on Tori. She has a ton of pressure and stress, with the kids, work and her

Celine Dion Becomes Part Of This Couple’s History, Much To Her Surprise

Celine Dion has seen lots of things during her time in show business. But from the looks of it, she hasn’t seen anything like this!

Nick Janevski and Austin McMillan have been dating for six months and instantly knew there was a connection. The two were introduced at their gym by McMillan’s cousin and they became inseparable.

After a short period of time, both Nick and Austin knew they wanted to be together forever. Nick was looking for a way to propose to Austin, but he wanted it to be perfect.

When Nick went to pick up Austin one day, he noticed she was blasting Celine Dion and from then on he would play it whenever she got in the car. That’s how he thought of this perfect idea.

“My mom raised me on Celine because she’s a huge Celine Dion fan,” says Austin.

Luckily enough, Nick had been a personal trainer for Celine Dion’s manager and he set up a meet and greet for the couple after one of her concerts. Austin freaked out, not knowing what she would say to her music idol in the 30 short seconds. Little did she know, meeting Celine was only the second most exciting thing to happen that night.

During their meet and greet, Nick got down on one knee and proposed to Austin. AWWWW!

But what makes it even better is the look on Celine Dion’s face!

Clearly her manager wanted it to be a surprise for EVERYONE!

Austin said she was so stunned, she didn’t even say yes!

“I didn’t even say yes… for like two whole minutes I was just shocked. I just looked at Celine Dion and then we both looked at him … I just kissed him.”

Celine Dion joked, “Should I even be here?”

But Dion knew she was witnessing something special, and offered her blessing to the happy couple.

“I hope you have a long and happy marriage, just like I did with my husband,” Dion said.

There hasn’t been a date set for the wedding as of yet, but my guess is Celine gets an invitation.

Before They Were Famous: The First Roles Of 19 Big Stars

There are no small parts, only small actors, but if we’re totally honest your first big break in the movie business is bound to be a really small part.

Some Oscar winners made their on-screen debuts with roles that didn’t even have any lines, or as background extras. They had to pay the bills somehow before they were real stars, and it’s interesting to see where famous actors began their careers.

It’s also hard to believe how young these actors and actresses looked, some of them have changed a lot! See if you recognize any of these famous stars in their early roles.

1. Steve Carrell in Curly Sue

He didn’t get any lines, but this star of The Office made us all laugh with his frozen face as Tessio the waiter.

2. John Cusack in 16 Candles

This leading man started acting in his teens, including a role as one of the geeks in this John Hughes comedy.

3. Leonardo DiCaprio in Critters 3

Who would’ve guessed that starring in a sequel to a Gremlins rip-off would set DiCaprio on his path to stardom?

4. Jimmy Fallon in Almost Famous

It’s hard to recognize the Tonight Show host behind his beard and glasses, but he played the rock band’s manager.

5. Meryl Streep in The Deer Hunter

Streep’s career had just started when she played Robert De Niro’s wife in this Vietnam War film, but she earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her performance.

6. Matt Damon in Mystic Pizza

The future Jason Bourne played a kid at a family dinner and only had one line : “Mom, do you want my green stuff?”

7. Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise

It’s hard to imagine why Brad Pitt’s small role in this movie made him an instant star.

8. John Krasinski in Jarhead

Did Jim get recruited? No, this Office star played a marine just before he was cast in his most famous role.

9. Ryan Gosling in Young Hercules

This role made Ryan Gosling a TV star, but he’d already appeared on lots of Canadian kids shows including Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Breaker High – a show about a high school on a cruise ship.

10. George Clooney in E/R

No, not that ER. Ten years before he was cast in the hit medical drama, Clooney starred in the medical sitcom E/R. Look at that hair!

11.  Charlie Sheen in Ferris Bueller

To make his role as a drug addict more convincing, Sheen stayed awake for 48 hours before he shot it.

12. Ben Affleck in Dazed and Confused

Today we know him as Batman, but Affleck was just playing a 70s high school bully in this comedy.

13. Daniel Craig in A Kid In King Arthur’s Court

It’s hard to take Craig seriously as James Bond once you’ve seen his bowl cut in this Disney movie.

14. Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street

It’s hard to believe that this baby-faced actor grew up to be Jack Sparrow, the Mad Hatter, and all of Johnny Depp’s other zany roles.

15. Tom Cruise in Taps

Cruise was still starring in high school dramas when he took this edgier role as a rebellious student at a military academy.

16. Jennifer Aniston in Leprechaun

There’s a reason Aniston doesn’t like to talk about this movie where she was terrorized by an evil leprechaun – it stinks!

17. Robert Downey Junior in Weird Science

Like Ben Affleck, this Avengers star started his career playing teenage bullies like his character Ian in this sci-fi comedy.

18. Vince Vaughn in Rudy

It wasn’t exactly his big break, but Vaughn got a few lines in this classic sports film.

19. Matthew McConaughey in Angels In the Outfield

Everyone knows this rom-com icon was great in Dazed and Confused but he was also alright, alright, alright as a baseball player in this Disney movie.

Can You Spot The 12 Elite Soldiers Hidden In This Photo?

The British Army’s Household Cavalry – the Queen’s official bodyguards – are the best of the best, and it’s easy to see why in this photo. Actually, it’s pretty hard to see.

The Cavalry is in Brunei for a month for what they call “Close Target Training,” and to remember their trip they’ve taken this group photo. There are 12 soldiers hidden in this photo (yes, we promise there really are) showing off their expert camouflage skills.

If you can spot just 3 of the men in this photo before checking the answer below, consider yourself an honorary Cavalry member.

Given up yet? There’s a reason these soldiers are recognized for their skills around the world.

Did you know that both Prince William and Prince Harry were in the Cavalry? James Blunt, the famous musician, was also a member. He would’ve been a perfect fit for the famous Musical Ride, the horse riding display set to music that the Cavalry performs.

Okay, you’ll hurt your eyes if you keep staring any longer. Check the answers below and see how many you spotted.

7 Things You Didn’t Know About Simon Pegg

Simon Pegg is probably one of the more underrated actors of our time. Sometimes his penchant for British irony leaves American fans scratching their heads, but it’s undeniable that his quick wit and dry humor easily translate across borders.

He got his career in acting started in British TV series and films like Asylum, Band of Brothers, and Black Books. When he’s not fitting seamlessly into roles of the awkward-yet-brilliant loser, he writes. He co-wrote the sitcom Spaced, which led to his co-writing the hit zombie Rom-Com Shaun of the Dead and other future blockbusters.

It started As a Joke…

Shaun of the Dead was the first film in the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy. This one referencing strawberry-flavored Cornetto ice cream. At first, it was written as a hangover cure for Nick Frost’s character, but later became a kind of Easter egg in other films.

He has the gift of prophecy – kind of.

In 2004, when asked whether he would leave the British film industry in favor of Hollywood, he once replied: “It’s not like we’re going to go away and do, I don’t know, Mission: Impossible III.”

Three years later, he was hired to play Benji Dunn, an IMF tech who assists Ethan Hunt.

Benjamin “Benji” Dunn in the Mission Impossible series: M:I-3, Ghos Protocol, Rogue Nation

He’s got connections

He was Sergeant Nicholas “Nick” Angel in Hot Fuzz – the highest grossing film of the Cornetto trilogy.

Fans were thrilled to see some of their favorite A-listers make uncredited cameo appearances, including: Peter Jackson, Cate Blanchett and Steve Coogan.

Rotten Tomatoes couldn’t predict this success

Even though the critics gave the film mixed reviews, he had solidified a devout British fan base by the time his Dennis Doyle ran in Run Fatboy  Run. The movie topped the UK box office; in it’s first weekend, earning  £2 million.

It would remain at the top of the chart for four weeks straight.

He is the perfect Commander Montgomery “Scotty” Scott

He first played the engineer in Star Trek (2009), then reprised the role in Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) and Star Trek Beyond (2016).

If you’re particularly fond of Star Trek Beyond, there’s a good reason: Pegg co-wrote it.

The Signs are clues

Pegg and Edgar Write used the pub signs as foreshadowing in the story. Pegg says they used them “like tarot cards” to predict the future events of the story. If you read the signs, you’ll know what’s coming!

He was ready to “quit”

What do you do when you’ve achieved all your childhood dreams? Say no to everything except for an offer from Spielberg. According to his interview with Esquire, Pegg wanted to take as step back and re-evaluate his career, maybe do something small.

So, not really believing it would happen, he told his agent to turn everything down except for a call from Spielberg.

“And then he [Spielberg] called,” Pegg says. “It was like, ‘Oh, for f*ck’s sake…'”

He’ll be playing the role of Ogden Morrow in 2018’s Ready Player One based on the book by Ernest Cline.

We look forward to seeing you soon, Simon! Like & Share if you’re a fan!

7 Hilarious And Unbelievable Moments From The Today Show

Most country’s morning shows don’t feature giggling fits and interviews with famous cats, but everything is a little different in Australia.

Every morning hosts Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson read the latest news, but they also manage to go off the rails and get into some ridiculous situations. If you live in Australia you already know the exact kind of mayhem that’s made the show legendary, but if you don’t you’re about to discover it.

1. Testing the Dalai Lama’s sense of humor

You probably shouldn’t ask the Dalai Lama a joke during an interview, but if you do it should actually be funny.

2. “Is that a shark?”

Australian morning show hosts should be used to seeing all kinds of scary animals, so that tells you how shocking this shark really was.

3. Interviewing this national hero

Chasing down thieves? Check. Wearing nothing but underpants? Check. Hilarious play-by-play interview the next day? Check. Definitely the most Australian TV segment of all time.

4. Is that how you play curling?

“Is this footage gonna haunt us or what?” Lisa knew exactly how silly the hosts looking trying this video game out, but they stayed committed to it until the very end!

5. When does the show start again?

Karl saved the day when Ben slept in one Friday morning, reading the sports headlines just as the sleepy anchor rolled into the studio.

Artist Brings Classic TV Shows To Life In Living Color

Even if you grew up watching every episode of the classic TV comedy The Munsters, we guarantee we have a clip from the show you’ve never seen before.

It was made by Zach Smothers, a self-described “color artist” who adds color to black and white images and videos. This is a very long process, because Smothers does everything by hand, and in a video every single frame needs to be colored individually.

That means this version of the Munsters intro, with color by Smothers, is really 1,300 individual paintings that he’s stitched together. It’s a lot of work, but the results are phenomenal.

Some people hate to see color added to old black and white shows, but Smothers says this is the wrong way to think about it. The only reason TV shows stayed black and white for so long was because of how expensive it used to be to shoot in color.

If shows had their choice back then, Smothers thinks all our great TV memories would be in color. He’s shown what that would look like with some great colorized shots of our favorite old shows:

(We know the Mary Tyler Moore show was in color, but this photo wasn’t!)

For now this is just a hobby, but Smothers hopes to make colorizing his job someday. We definitely think he has the skills to do it. If you want to see more of his work you can find it on his website, Pop Colorture.

11 Electrifying Facts About John Travolta

From Pulp Fiction to Grease to his latest roles on shows like The People v. O.J. Simpson, John Travolta has always shined in roles that audiences love.

A true movie star, Travolta has starred in everything from musicals to action films, science fiction and even horror. But there’s no doubt his most famous role is the unforgettable Danny Zuko from Grease.

You might remember every word from that movie, but you would have to be a truly obsessive Travolta fan to know these 11 facts about the star.

1. He reunited with Olivia Newton John for a good cause

In 2012 the pair made a special Christmas called This Christmas. They both donated their profits to charities they support. John gave his money to his late son’s charity for special needs children, while Olivia gave hers to her own breast cancer charity.

2. He trained for 9 months to film his iconic dance scene

Travolta would dance for three hours every day, and lost 20 pounds by the time the movie was finished. He actually threatened to quit the movie unless they kept in as many wide shots as possible, so everyone could see his dancing in full.

3. Travolta is a world-class pilot

The actor owns 5 planes and uses them often. His home even has its own runway. He even survived a near-miss in 1992 when his plane’s electrical system malfunctioned.

4. He made a big mistake at the 2014 Oscars

While introducing Idina Menzel, the famous singer and Broadway star, he accidentally called her “Adele Nazeem.” Travolta blames this slip up on the way her name was spelled on the card, plus he was starstruck over seeing Goldie Hawn backstage.

5. He helped make Richard Gere famous

Travolta turned down three movies that went on to be huge hits for Richard Gere, American Gigolo, An Officer and a Gentleman, and Chicago.

6. He has a very weird hobby

When he appeared on Ellen, Travolta explained that he collects samples of hot cocoa from around the world. ”It represents winter wonderlands, it represents Christmas,” he said. “I’ve collected various types of cocoa from around the world.”

7. Princess Diana shared a dance with him

At a White House dinner in 1985 Princess Diana and the young actor cut a rug. She later said it was the highlight of her trip, while he says it was a highlight of his life. The dress she wore at the event later sold for more than half a million dollars.

8. He learned from the best

When Travolta was younger his dance instructor was Fred Kelly, brother of movie star Gene Kelly. Fred actually taught his famous brother to dance, and he even gave Queen Elizabeth a few lessons, so let’s just say Travolta was in good hands.

9. Remember his big hit?

Travolta has starred in his share of musicals, but he also had a hit of his own in 1976 with “Let Her In.” The song reached number 10 on the Billboard charts.

10. And Olivia wasn’t his only duet partner

In the animated movie Bolt, Travolta played a dog while Miley Cyrus played his owner. They both recorded this touching duet, which was featured in the movie.

11. He was never a teenage rebel

Travolta’s biggest role was as the high school heartthrob Danny Zuko, but the actor never finished high school himself. He dropped out at age 17 to dance full time. We’d say this was a bad idea, but just look how well things turned out!

Sofia Vergara Secretly Battled Cancer

Modern Family is an insanely popular TV show across the world.

But did you know one of the stars battled thyroid cancer in 2000?

When she was 28 years old, Sofia Vergara was at a routine doctor’s appointment when she got some troubling news.

“He felt a lump in my neck,” she recalls. “It was very traumatic,” she says. “I was young. I had a young son. But I tried not to panic. I decided to take charge and inform myself. Of course, I couldn’t Google thyroid cancer from the comfort of my house back then, so I went to bookstores and found out everything I could about it.”

Vergara had to undergo surgery to remove her thyroid gland, which produces a hormone to help regulate the body’s temperature, heart rate, and caloric use. After the surgery, the Modern Family star also had to undergo treatment with radioactive iodine to wipe out any remaining cancer cells.

“Not even the nurses could come close,” she recalls. “They practically throw you your food through a hole in the door,” she joked. “I was lucky that’s all I needed. That kind of cancer is very quiet, and usually you only realize you have it after it’s already spread and it’s much harder to treat.”

Now, 17 years later, Vergara is still cancer-free but has to take a lavender pill every morning to make up for her lack of thyroid.

“I have to take it without any food, and then I sit there counting the minutes for half an hour until I can have my coffee!” she laughs. “I get my blood levels checked every 3 to 6 months to make sure my thyroid levels are good. And of course after cancer, every time I cough or feel something I’m a little paranoid. But I want people to know you can live a normal life with hypothyroidism.”

Now 41, Vergara is a CoverGirl and the highest earning woman on television. She and her new husband, Joe Manganiello, are living a happy and healthy life together! Her 26 year old son, Manolo, is still a big part of her life after raising him alone when she was just 18 years old.

7 Things You Didn’t Know About Shirley Temple

She was “Our Little Girl” and America’s sweetheart during the Great Depression. Shirley’s movies brought hope and joy to the nation during this period of struggle against poverty and helplessness.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt even spoke about how her laughter and presence on screen improved the outlook of the nation.

In the 1930’s, this sweet little lady charmed and enchanted an entire nation with her innocence. She had quite the following of fans, but how many of these facts do you know?

Just A Kid:

In 1931, she was only 3 years old when her mother signed her up for classes at Mrs. Meglin’s Dance Studio in Los Angeles. Two film producers saw her potential and hired her to star in a parody film called Baby Burlesks.

Young Advocate For Mental Health

Franklin D. Roosevelt publicly complimented Shirley’s acting as being a major source of strength and encouragement for the country during The Great Depression. He called her “Little Miss Miracle” for her ability to boost public morale:

“As long as our country has Shirley Temple, we will be all right… When the spirit of the people is lower than at any other time during this Depression, it is a splendid thing that for just 15 cents, an American can go to a movie and look at the smiling face of a baby and forget his troubles.”

43 Films By 13

Since films took much less time to produce in the ’30s than they do now, young Shirley was acting in as many as four films a year. By the time she was 12 years old, Shirley had acted in 43 films.

Pre-pubescent Millionnaire

Before adulthood, Shirley had earned over $3 million USD from acting. Adjusting for inflation, that would be the equivalent of over $50 million USD today.

Teen wife

Shirley’s first marriage was to fellow actor, John Agar Jr. in 1945. She was just 17 and he was 24 at the time. The couple had a daughter named Linda Susan before they were divorced in 1949.

She remarried Charles Alden Black, a WW2 US Navy intelligence officer and Silver Star recipient in 1950. They had two children: son, Charles Jr., and daughter, Lori. The couple remained married for 54 years until his death from bone marrow disease.

U.S. Ambassador

Her decision to retire from motion pictures at a young age opened up opportunities for her to lend her fame to the United Nations. Her government career included:

  • 1969–1970: U.S. delegate to the U.N. General Assembly
  • 1974: Ambassador to Ghana
  • 1976-1977: Chief of Protocol for the U.S.
  • 1988: Honorary U.S. Foreign Service officer
  • 1989-1992: Ambassador to Czechoslovakia

Breast Cancer Advocate

In 1972, Shirley did something most women in America couldn’t – she talked about breast cancer. At the time, the disease was considered a private issue not to be discussed publicly, but when Shirley called a press conference from her hospital bed, she blew the lid off of that old taboo.

She publicly announced that she was recovering from a mastectomy and encouraged women to get tested:

“The only reason I am telling you this is to convince other women to watch for any lump or unusual symptom. There is almost certain cure for this cancer if it is caught early enough.”
