People Are Disgusted By What Angelina Jolie Fed Her Kids

On a weekend trip to Cambodia, Angelina Jolie appeared on BBC News with her six children. In the clip, she shows them how to cook a meal of scorpions, tarantulas and other bugs.

The 41-year-old actress taught them how to remove the tarantula’s fangs and flip a scorpion in a hot pan. “You start with crickets and a beer, and then you kind of move up to tarantulas,” Jolie said.

No stranger to controversy, the mother of six recently commented on the split from Pitt, maintaining that the children are her top priority.

While some fans were impressed by her culinary skills, others were disgusted: calling the practice a part of her “satanic ritual diet.”

Despite the harsh words and critical opinion about the Jolie-Pitt split, the kids appear to be doing alright.

What do you think? Is she doing her part to raise culturally sensitive kids, or is she just using them as a prop?

‘Glee’ Star Has Her Wedding Called Off Weeks After Going Dress Shopping

No one ever wants to hear about engagements getting called off. But it’s especially said when the couple has been together for so long.

Glee star Lauren Potter told PEOPLE magazine that she and her long-time boyfriend Timothy Spear are no longer engaged.

Potter was given a promise ring by her childhood-friend-turned-boyfriend last August and she couldn’t have been more excited.

Potter has an accomplished life, not only with her SAG award nomination for Glee, but she was also appointed as a White House Advisor on the President’s Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

The 26-year-old actress had just been speaking with Say Yes To The Dress and other wedding dress designers over the holidays, when Spear decided to end their relationship.

“He did not like the publicity,” says Robin Sinkhorn, Potter’s mom. “It was overwhelming.”

“It hurts,” admits Potter. “After we got married I wanted to wake up and see him make breakfast for me. I loved him so much.”

Lauren Potter is already on the hunt to move on. She’s hitting the gym for bikini season, going on some dates, and planning her future. If acting in Hollywood doesn’t pan out, she’s hoping to become a barista at Starbucks.

For The First Time In Academy Award History, This Major Incident Happened

If you thought Steve Harvey’s “Miss Universe” flub was bad, Warren Beatty just made one even worse.

At the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday, everyone was waiting for the Best Picture award to be presented. It’s the last award of the evening, and always ends up being the most controversial category of the evening.

However, it’s never been as bad as this.

Warren Beatty was the presenter for the Best Picture award. After he read the nominations, Beatty opened the envelope and announced La La Land as the winner. There was just one problem…

They weren’t the winners.

Turns out, Warren Beatty was handed the wrong envelope by the stage handlers and was given the enveloped for Best Actress, which Emma Stone in La La Land had just won.

The actual winner was the film Moonlight, but no one said anything until the La La Land cast and crew were halfway through their acceptance speeches.

Producers of the Oscars scrambled to solve the mix-up, with producer Jordan Horowitz running on stage.

“There’s a mistake. ‘Moonlight’ you guys won best picture,” Horowitz said to the shocked audience. “This is not a joke, come up here. ‘Moonlight’ has won best picture.”

As the cast and crew of La La Land awkwardly shuffled off the stage, a shocked Moonlight group came on stage to accept their award.

The director of Moonlight, Barry Jenkins, was floored when everything happened. “I’d never seen that happen before,” he said. “It made a special feeling more special but not in the way I expected. The last 20 minutes of my life have been insane … beyond life changing.”

The big question, of course, is how on Earth this could ever happen. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is the accounting firm that tallies Oscar votes, and also takes care of the envelopes during the show. They took full responsibility for the mix-up and offered up an apology.

“We sincerely apologize to Moonlight, La La Land, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and the Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for best picture. The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, [were] immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred. We appreciate the grace with which the nominees, the Academy, and Jimmy Kimmel handled the situation.”

You have to see the video. Everyone seems kid of stunned as to what’s going on, but all try to play it off as professionals. One thing’s for sure…it definitely got people talking.

His Light-Speed Performance Still Dazzles 64 Years Later

They called him “Mr. Showmanship” and truly, there was no one else quite like him in the world.

His bedazzled costumes, larger-than-life stage presence and incredible, raw talent for the piano amazed millions in the ’50s and ’60s.

Before he played for the Hollywood elite, he worked his way up from humble beginnings by playing in nightclubs. His syndicated television show The Liberace Show was a smash hit that later dazzled viewers even more when it aired again in color in 1969.

Until This Year, This Was The Biggest Oscars Mistake Ever

By now you’ve seen the huge mistake that this year’s Oscars ceremony will be remembered forever for, but that wasn’t the first time things have gone wrong during the show.

Little mistakes happen here or there, like people missing their cue, but it takes a lot of work to create a mix-up as bad as handing someone the wrong card. But, amazingly, that’s now happened twice in the show’s history.

The first time was way back in 1964. Jack Lemmon was hosting the ceremony and he had just introduced Sammy Davis Jr. to present the music awards. Enjoy Sammy’s impressions and see the blunder for yourself:

It’s hard to decide if Sammy’s mistake is worse than Warren Beatty’s was this year. There was less confusion, but only because the “winner” wasn’t in the category at all.

To be fair, Sammy also played this mistake off very well, throwing out a few zingers while everything was smoothed out.

What do you think? Was this year’s mistake worse?

Bon Jovi Was Contemplating Breaking Up Until He Saw A House For Sale

Thirty years is a long time for anyone to stay together, much less an entire band. So after over 3 decades of making music is Bon Jovi about to split up? According to the rock legend they were about to do just that, until he opened a magazine and saw a simple ad.

Bon Jovi

“I was thumbing through a magazine questioning the future of the band…and I came upon this picture of this stone house with deep roots; that was it. This soul…this house is not for sale,” he told a crowd in Dallas.

Stone House

Bon Jovi has been rocking since 1983 and with only a couple exceptions he still tours with his original band. Many people have never known a world with out Bon Jovi. Are we Livin’ On A Prayer that we’ll always have Bon Jovi? Maybe, but the band is still making music and just released a new album last year. They still tour and perform to sold-out venues, but if they’re coming to your town you might want to scoop up tickets – they may not be around forever.

17 Images You Didn’t Know Were Drawn By Dr. Seuss

In today’s day and age, the fear of losing your child has never been more rampant.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, about 800,000 individuals are reported missing every year, which means there’s more than 2,000 missing persons a day.

The only thing that could make this matter worse is if nobody’s aware that a child went missing, and that’s exactly what happened when a five-month-old baby was found

Tori Spelling has had a tough few months.

In March, police were called to check in on the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress after suffering from a reported “nervous breakdown.”

The caller who dialed 911 told the dispatcher that Spelling had been behaving aggressively, which was later believed to be triggered from stress.

“The last year has been really tough on Tori. She has a ton of pressure and stress, with the kids, work and her

Fans Are Boycotting ‘The Voice’ After This Happened

The Voice is now in season 12 and is one of the most popular reality shows on TV.

But many fans are upset with the direction the show is heading in with the return judge Gwen Stefani. It’s not the judge herself that people are upset with.

Many fans feel as though the show is focusing too much on Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend, fellow judge Blake Shelton. The couple met on the show in 2013, and after both left their spouses in 2015 they started dating. With Stefani back as a judge for season 12, their romance is flaunted after every performance.

The Voice has made videos specifically promoting their relationship, saying it’s TV’s “hottest romance.” It’s even worked into their contracts.

“[Blake and Gwen] are getting paid an exceptional bonus that is significantly higher than the other judges to keep the spark alive on-camera,” says one source. “Bosses are really, really pushing for this. They want nothing more than for Blake to propose to Gwen during a taping of the show.”

The romance being flaunted is rubbing a lot of fans the wrong way.

The show just aired this week, so it will be interesting to see if they keep up the PDA throughout the season or if they take hint from fans that it’s just too much. The Voice is one of the few shows left on the air that is based off talent, not drama, so it’s no surprise that fans are starting to get a sour taste in their mouths.

Do you think fans have a right to be upset about the way the show is going? Or are they just being bitter? Let us know when you think!

10 Times the Last Episode of “This Is Us” Made Us Ugly Cry

Warning, there are spoilers ahead from the February 21st Episode of This Is Us.

Episode 16 of This Is Us entitled Memphis was the perfect mix of past and present following the story line of William throughout his life. It was a more linear story than what we are used to, focusing on 2 of the main characters instead of The Big Three and Jack and Rebecca. As Randall and William take a road-trip for William to visit his hometown of Memphis, we get to learn where he came from and some of the reasons why he ended up as a junkie leaving his baby at the fire station.

This has to be one of the most genuine episodes of the show so far, and the writers couldn’t have had a better send off for William.

We have known for a while that it is only a matter of time before William passes. This episode was the perfect end to his very imperfect life. Even though we knew it was coming, nothing could prepare us for these ugly cry moments.

1. Saying goodbye to his grandchildren. You didn’t want to admit to yourself that this could be the last time he sees the girls as William and Randall embark on the road trip to Memphis.

Later in the hospital when Randall wants to have them come say goodbye, he declines saying he said goodbye when they were laying down and that he wants them to remember looking up at him, not down.

2. William paying respects to Jack’s dad at the tree where his ashes were scattered.

From one father to another, William said, “I would have liked to have met my father’s son.” He kept it simple and was full of gratitude for the life he couldn’t give his son. In that moment, you wish the two dads could have met.

3. William and His Mother

We learn that William lost his father in the war before he was born. His mother raised him alone and it was always just the 2 of them. “You’re the best thing that ever happened to me,” she tells him at the train station before she leaves to take care of her mother, William’s grandmother.

They were really close for his entire life. Later when his mother got sick, William cared for her and gave up his band and potential music career.

4. You Are My Sunshine leads into the most heart-wrenching parts of the show. This song plays in the beginning of the episode with William’s father singing to his unborn son, and while his mom finds out he killed in the war. It later plays when his mother is singing it to baby William which fades into Randall finding his father shaking in bed.

5. William Turns to Drugs After Losing His Mom. We knew from the beginning that William struggled with drugs. We didn’t know why exactly, but after his mother’s illness and eventual death he finally stopped saying no to the drug culture that was surrounding him and started using with his girlfriend (and Randall’s mother), Laura.

6. William’s last night. He goes back to visit his cousin that he left behind years ago to apologize for not returning to him and the band after his mother passed. “I was ashamed at what I had become,” William admits, apologizing for not coming back. He turns to leave, but the cousin stops him by asking him if he’s too sick to play. “I’m never too sick to play,” William says. From here, they have an incredible night playing while Randall meets some extended family.

7. Poems for My Son We saw him writing these poems in a flashback of an earlier episode, so it’s nice to see that he was able to give them to Randall, even if it was on his deathbed.

“Waiting for the right moment,” he said.

8. William’s goodbye to his son, really made you reach for the tissues. “Roll down the windows, Randall. Crank up that music. Grow out that ‘fro. … You’ve deserved the beautiful life you’ve made. You deserve everything, Randall. My beautiful boy. My son. I haven’t had a happy life. I had breaks. I had choices. A life of almosts and could-haves. Some would call it sad, but I don’t. ‘Cause the two best things in my life were the person in the very beginning, and the person at the very end. And that’s a pretty good thing to be able to say, I think.”

With the amount of focus on William’s mom, this is the perfect way to bring the episode full circle.

9. William’s final moments really made you struggle for a breath.

As a boy Randall would struggle with anxiety and his dad helped pass the attack by them breathing together, so it seemed fitting that when William was scared, Randall helped him breathe through it, until he passed.

10. On Randall’s drive home, a family of ducks crossed the road in front of his car. This was a beautiful metaphor for the day they never got to spend together, but also a reminder that his dad may be still watching over him. With that Randall cranked up the music, rolled down the window and kept on driving.

Josh Duggar Makes Rare Appearance Since Scandal

When news of Josh Duggar’s scandal broke, people were left stunned.

It was revealed that the eldest Duggar son was a sex addict and had paid for sex on the site Ashley Madison. It also came to light that he had sexually abused two of his sisters.

Duggar checked himself into a faith-based rehabilitation center, saying ““I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.”

The entire Duggar family forgave Josh and his actions, but held firm in stating God would heal him.

Since the scandal broke in 2015, Josh Duggar, his wife Anna, and their children have all kept an extremely low profile. There was speculation that Anna wanted a divorce from Josh, but new photos posted on the family Facebook page seem to suggest everything is going well for the young family.

In celebration of Josh Duggar’s 29th birthday, The Duggar Family Facebook page posted a recent photo of Josh, Anna, and the kids with kind words.

The family seems happy and healthy, which is all you can ask for after something like this happens.

This is one of the first pictures of their kids since Josh’s confession, with the family hoping to keep them out of the public eye. While a lot of people have been critical of the Duggar family, a lot of fans are just happy to see them doing well.

Have you forgiven Josh Duggar’s actions? Or do you still hold them against him? Let us know!

These Dawson’s Creek Facts Will Take You Back to Capeside

1. Katie Holmes sent in an audition tape, with her mom acting as Dawson.

Originally they wanted to cast Selma Blair as Joey, but decided to audition other actresses including Katie. Katie, who was just a high school student at the time, and refused to fly out to LA for the audition because she had a commitment to play Lola in her school production of Damn Yankees. So in their sewing room, with her mom acting as Dawson, they filmed her audition tape and she was cast. I wonder where that audition tape is now.

2. Joshua Jackson originally auditioned for the role of Dawson.

Can you imagine Josh as Dawson, instead of the fun-loving, witty, Pacey? I can’t either. Joshua actually read for both parts, before claiming the role of Pacey, beating future American Pie star Jason Biggs.

3. James Van Der Beek Almost Wasn’t Cast.

If it wasn’t for show creator Kevin Williamson, James Van Der Beek would not have been cast as Dawson Leery. After watching the auditions, the head of Sony didn’t believe James had star quality. Two days before filming was supposed to start, James was cast.

4. Dawson’s Haircut was inspired by Brad Pitt’s Hairstyle in The Devil’s Own.

Look familiar?

5. The episode “True Love” had the first male gay kiss on U.S. Primetime TV.

In the third season finale, which aired on May 24, 2000, Jake kisses his boyfriend Ethan for the first-time on screen.

6. Dawson’s Crying Face.

Everyone remembers that scene on the pier where Dawson cried in the first season finale, mostly because James’ crying face has become an epic meme for you to find all over the internet. The tears weren’t even scripted, he confesses, “I remember being completely surprised by it because it was completely sincere. The fact that it’s being used to mock me now, I think it’s so funny,” he told HuffPost TV via phone.

7. Michelle Williams didn’t want Jen to die.

Michelle didn’t want to miss out on future reunion opportunities with the cast. She definitely did the character justice, because we all remember emptying the Kleenex box when we watched her last message to her daughter.

The Adorable Moments In “This is Us” Taught These Life Lessons

Spoilers ahead! If you haven’t been following the NBC TV series This is Us, you need to start right now. If you’re a parent, hope to have kids someday, or love cute/awkward/adorable people interactions, you’ll love it!

Here’s some of the many life lessons the show demonstrates, along with some of the most adorable snapshots from the show.

Parenting is One of Life’s Most Rewarding Experiences

Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) both gave up their dreams to become parents to triplets. Although their family life is chaotic, they always find ways to enjoy the little moments and be proud of the little people they have raised.

Family is About Relationship, Not Blood Relatives

When the third triplet dies at birth, Rebecca and Jack adopt Randall, who is the same age as Kate and Kevin. The “Big Three” grow up together, drift apart, but ultimately are always there for each other when times get rough…which is all the time. Let’s face it, that’s life.

Great Dads Build Relationships with Their Sons and Daughters

Jack has a delightful relationship with each one of his children. He gives special attention to Kate, who struggles with her weight and self-confidence. He isn’t afraid to get silly to make her smile, showing that great dads can make a big difference in the lives of their daughters.

Laughter is the Best Medicine

When a depressed Kate meets Toby, he instantly makes her laugh. It’s easy to get caught up in the details and forget that a big part of dating is to have fun. Kate and Toby’s relationship is proof that being humorous and loving another person despite quirks is set up for success.

Never Stop Being Creative

One of my favorite scenes from the show is when the family gets stranded at Thanksgiving due to a tire blowout. Instead of having a disappointing evening in a run-down motel, Jack dons a pilgrim’s hat and pretends to be “Pilgrim Rick.” The kids are delighted, and as adults, they remember it as the best Thanksgiving ever.

Reach Out to Others When You’re Hurting

When Jack and Rebecca lost one of their babies, they could have drawn further apart because of their pain. Instead, they show each other support and comfort. “We will work this out together” is their attitude, and we applaud their bravery to be vulnerable with each other.

Be Yourself, Even When You’re Awkward

Randall has a lot of adorable moments. He’s intelligent over-achiever who always tries to profess his love in ways that are incredibly human and hilariously awkward. He misuses words, performs a terrible piano solo at his daughter’s school, and can’t explain to anyone what he does for a living. And we love him for it.

Family is Everything

Rebecca, Jack, Randall, Kate, and Kevin each experience failed relationships, loss, lack of self-confidence, stress, exhaustion, anxiety, and loneliness. The difference is they experience these things together, supporting each other and forgiving each other because they are family.

The Original Ending Of Pretty Woman Was Much Darker Than You’d Expect

We all know the classic prostitute to princess story of Pretty Woman that made Julia Roberts a household name in the 90’s. Well did you know that Julia Roberts’ character, Vivian Ward, was supposed to die in the original ending of the flick? On March 2, 2017, former Walt Disney Studios chairman Jeffery Katzenberg revealed that the character was actually supposed to die of an overdose at the end of the classic 1990 film.

How dark!

“I can’t tell you how much time was spent debating,” Katzenberg said at a Q&A session at Hearst Tower in New York City, according to the New York Post’s Page Six. “As a script, Pretty Woman was an R-rated movie about a hooker on Hollywood Boulevard. By the way, in the original version — it’s pretty dark — I think she died of an overdose.”

It’s no secret that the original story had to be rewritten into the romantic comedy, especially with the sensitive nature of sexuality, money and prostitution. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts stole the hearts of fans, with their cute and witty portray of two unlikely characters that fell in love against all odds.

“So convincing [people] that we should make that at the Walt Disney Co., and that it’s a fairy tale and a princess movie, a lot of people had a hard time seeing it. But, as they say, the rest is history.”

Pretty Woman still remains Disney’s highest grossing R-rated film to date, so I guess the decision was a good one in the end.

What do you think of the alternate ending?

8 Killer Celebrities on Criminal Minds

After 10 seasons, Criminal Minds has aired some pretty horrific crimes and killers. From kidnapping, to arson, torture and personality disorder, they have touched on many of the inner workings of the minds of serial killers. It’s no surprise that they have had to get some familiar places to play these killers that haunt some of your dreams at night. Here are some of the celebrities that have played the dark side of humanity that you may have forgotten about.

In this season 2, two-part episode we see the former Dawson’s Creek star play Tobias Hankel, a man dealing with multiple personality issues. In his head he has his father, who punishes so-called sinners using religious torture techniques, himself, and the archangel Raphael. He kidnaps Dr. Reid and we find out his dark past.

In season 4, the former Seinfeld star portrayed a narcissist and prodigy serial killer that was looking to exact revenge on David Rossi, who he blames for ruining his life.

In season 3, this Rosanne star takes you on a journey through your greatest phobias. Appropriately named Scared to Death, this episode focuses on a therapist who exploits people’s greatest fears before they die.

Continue to read about the creepy roles of Star Wars, Star Trek and Malcolm in the Middle actors.

The force is strong with this unsub. Mark Hamill, formerly known for playing Luke Skywalker, was one of the series toughest criminals to put away. The Replicator’s murders mirrored other BAU cases and he was found stalking the team in no fewer than 8 episodes during season 8 before finally killing reoccurring character BAU Section Chief Erin Strauss.

There’s no singing and dancing in Tim Curry’s portrayal of the horrifying character of The Prince of Darkness in the Season 6 premiere. Known for his preference to attack during backouts, his victims list reached 200+ including the psychological torture of Morgan and the Spicer family.

After suffering a psychotic break, this former Malcolm in the Middle star’s character sought vengeance and went on a spree kill of gang members that once attacked him.

This former Stand By Me star really turned up the creep factor in Season 4 as an unsub that raped and murdered his victims. Floyd claimed the lives of 3 couples, disguising them as suspicious car accidents. As a motel owner, he has the perfect way to trap and torture his victims.

From Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s little sister to murderous stalker on Criminal Minds, Michelle Trachtenberg’s character couldn’t be more different than her previous work. Diane kidnaps Dr. Reid’s love interest Maeve and when committing suicide, kills her as well, all while Reid watches.

Choose Your Own Adventure Coming to Netflix

We all remember the classic novels where you get to pick how you want your story to end. If you want to go through the tunnel, flip to page 33, if you want to go back home and hide to your room, go to page 5. Well soon you may be able to make those critical choices with your favorite shows on Netflix.

Netflix has reported testing choose-your-own-adventure content that you could be watching and interacting with at home.

A source told the Daily Mail, “We’re doing work on branch narratives so you are actually making choices as you watch. All the content will be there, and then people will have to get through it in different ways.”

This could open up all new doors for how we watch TV.

“We’ll see how it plays out. It’s an experiment. We’ll see if it gets much success. For creators, it’s new territory,” they said.

Netflix intends to run a trial with choose-your-own-adventure shows for children later this year, based on an established character and see how it all plays out.

With great original series like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Daredevil and Sense8, there are so many opportunities to get viewers more involved in the show.

Finally, Barb doesn’t have to be sitting alone by the pool and get taken to the Upside Down, she can finally get some more screen time like she deserves.

Which Netflix plot lines would you change with this new tool?

Carrie Fisher’s Unreleased Song Is Music To Your Ears

Growing up with sets of famous parents Carrie Fisher and Sean Ono Lennon made logical friends.

“I can honestly say that Carrie was one of the best and closest friends I’ve ever had in my life. She was the smartest, funniest, kindest, and most generous person I have ever known,” he wrote in a post on Instagram after her passing. “My heart is completely and permanently broken. This is the kind of loss that you never recover from. I know because I still miss my dad every single day.”

With talent running through their veins Sean Ono Lennon who’s parents are Yoko Ono and John Lennon, could relate to the life of Carrie Fisher who was the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher.

Last weekend Sean released a demo unmixed of a song they wrote together before her death.

“Carrie and I used to stay up til dawn chatting and pontificating about life. They were my best moments. Anyway… we wrote a song about staying up too late and hearing the birds sing,” he posted on Soundcloud.

Willow Smith, daughter of Will and Jada Smith helped to record the song by lending to the vocals.

A post shared by ≠GWEELOS≠ (@willowsmith) on

“Carrie and I wrote this song years ago. When she died I just felt I had to record it. This is only a demo unmixed, we only had a few hours to record it. But the lyrics she wrote with me I think are marvelous,” Sean posted on Soundcloud.

Well done!

He Found His Girlfriend Murdered But Didn’t Do Anything About It

Before Ashton Kutcher was a household name, he was just a 23-year-old dealing with girl troubles.

In 2001, Kutcher was dating a student named Ashley Ellerin. The two were “together” but not TOGETHER, in the sense that nothing was exclusive. Ellerin had tried to make plans with Kutcher one night but he turned her down on that occasion.

Later in the same evening, Ellerin asked Kutcher to make plans but he declined once again. He did, however, agree to plans later in the night at around 10:45pm.

Kutcher drove to Ellerin’s house around 10:45, expecting a bit of a fight. Having already turned down his girlfriend twice in one day, he anticipated she might be a bit upset with him. When he showed up to the house, Kutcher knocked on the door and yelled out Ashley’s name a couple times, but there was no answer. He says he looked in a window and saw a pool of what he believed to be red wine on the floor. Kutcher figured Ellerin was mad at him for not accepting her earlier invitations so he just left.

As it turns out, it wasn’t red wine. It was blood.

Ellerin had been stabbed 35 times while getting ready for her date with Ashton.

“He slashed Ms. Ellerin’s throat so violently [he] nearly decapitated her. After she was murdered her body was left [in a] demeaning pose that was sexual in nature,” according to court documents.

Ashley EllerinDaily Mail

So who did it? Who murdered Ashley Ellerin?

That would be serial killer Michael Gargiulo , also known as the Chiller Killer. Gargiulo is an air-conditioning technician who has two other murder accusations to his name. He also attempted to stab another woman in 2008, but she got away. DNA left at that crime scene is what connected the cases together.

In 2015, Michael Gargiulo was awaiting trial, where Ashton Kutcher took the witness stand to testify against the suspected killer of his girlfriend. His testimony was a crucial part of the trial, solidifying the time of death.

Michael Gargiulo was charged with capital murder.

As of 2017, there have been no updates pertaining to the case of Michael Gagiulo.
