Seal Plays With Stuffed Seal Toy In The Cutest Photos Ever

Animal parks spend lots of time and money keeping their animals healthy and happy, but sometimes all it takes is a stuffed toy to boost an animal’s mood.

Keepers at the Okhotsk Tokkari center in Northern Japan look after both trained seals and injured seals from the wild. On their social media account they show lots of fun distractions for the seals like slides and rubber balls, but one adorable toy caught everyone’s attention.

The center’s staff gave the animals their own stuffed seal toys to play with, and you can tell from the look on Aku the seal’s face that he absolutely loved it.

He even gave his new friend a piggy back, with the same happy smile on his face.

These two got along so well that the keepers introduced other seals to their fuzzy friends, but some of the animals just seemed a little confused by everything.

We don’t know if the Guinness World Records folks give out official awards for “cutest photos ever,” but these are some serious contenders.

Susan Lucci Pays Touching Tribute To Her Late ‘All My Children’ Costar Mark LaMura

On the afternoon of September 12, news broke that All My Children star Mark LaMura died.

The actor who was best known for his role as Mark Dalton on the long-running soap opera passed away the previous day at the age of 68 following a strenuous battle with lung cancer, according to TV Line. The website confirmed the sad news with LaMura’s close friend actor Donnie Kehr (House of Cards).

Ultimate Soap Fan Wiki

LaMura held his role on All My Children from 1977 to 1989 before leaving to take on other projects. He made occasional guest appearances on the show throughout the 1990s.

The Emmy-nominated actor also appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation, As The World Turns, One Life to Live, L.A. Law, The Sopranos, Law & Order: SVU and Damages. He starred in several theatrical productions including the 2013 revival of The Odd Couple.

In 2012, LaMura confessed that he didn’t “love” being on the soap opera and described it as “a heavy like affair.”

“The problem with them is they cost too much compared to four hosts and a guest sitting on a couch,” he told We Love Soaps. To act in them, however, was like being able to play all 88 keys on a piano and only being allowed to plunk out the same 8 every day.”

“The director has to shoot it, the actors have learn ‘all them words’ the night before,” he continued. “Love — no. Thanks for the dough. It was a heavy like affair.”

Despite it all, LaMura made some lifelong friendships. His costar and friend Susan Lucci, who played LaMura’s on-screen sister, Erica Kane, shared a heartfelt tribute after hearing about the actor’s passing.

Lucci posted a photo of her and LaMura on Instagram accompanied by a touching caption.

“How can this be?” she wrote. “I just received the shocking and deeply saddening news that wonderful Mark LaMura has passed away! Mark played my brother Mark on All My Children.”

“He was such a talented and accomplished actor / a bright and charming presence in all our AMC lives — and a really great guy,” she added. “Mark was loved and he will be missed! RIP, my friend.”

Mark’s death comes just a year after the death of the creator of All My Children, Agnes Nixon. Lucci also paid tribute to Nixon at this year’s Daytime Emmys.

Our thoughts and prayers are with LaMura’s loved ones during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

5 Dog Food Storage Mistakes You’re Making That Could Lead To Illness

It may seem like something harmless, but the way you store your dog’s food could be causing them to get sick. If you notice your dog is a little under the weather, it’s worth checking to see how you’re keeping their food and if that could be the cause.

Dog food, like people food, requires certain storage requirements to keep it from going bad. Just because it’s (hopefully) not something your or I would eat, that doesn’t mean it’s not perishable.

Take a look at these common dog food storage mistakes and see if there’s anything you need to change in your home.

1. Don’t leave the top of the bag open.

This isn’t just because it will go stale. Exposing food to air and humidity, you increase the risk of salmonella. Dog food should be sealed at all times. You can keep it in a bag, just make sure the top is folded over securely. If you are going to use a plastic storage container, ensure it’s a food safe one.

2. Not all food can be left out

It can often be a habit of dog owners to keep dog food out all day when they’re at work. But certain foods can only be left out for a couple hours before they start to turn. It’s recommended to do some research or contact the manufacturer to ask what the exposure times are. Canned food is different, only have a 2-4 hour period to be left out before expiring.

3. Yes, you need to wash the bowl.

It may seem like a tedious task, but the FDA recommends you wash pet bowls every day. A lot of people think that because it’s the same food going in every day, the dishes can be washed less frequently. But diseases like listeria and salmonella can accumulate on the dishes.

4. Young kids aren’t in charge.

Asking your kids to feed the dog is a good idea in theory, but kids are less reliable in terms of sanitary habits. This can make both your dog and your child sick. Supervising them while they feed the pet is a great, but don’t let them fly solo until you’re sure it’s the right time.

5. Look at the expiration dates

Yes, pet food has expiration dates. They’re not just there for suggestion. While this may seem like common sense, a lot of people choose to ignore the dates because they don’t want to shell out more money for food. Your dog deserves the best, just like you do!

Woman Is Sending Out Warning After Suffering From This Common Condition

Have you ever heard of Endometriosis? If you have, then congratulations because you’re one of very few people in the world who knows about this condition which affects millions of women around the globe.

There are many women who actually have Endometriosis and have never even heard of it. So what exactly is it?

Endometriosis is a condition that affects women when the lining of the uterus grows outside outside of the womb. According to, more than 11 of American women between the ages of 15 and 44 are affected and it is “especially common among women in their 30s and 40s and may make it harder to get pregnant.”

Those suffer from Endometriosis may or may not exhibit symptoms but when they do, it could include painful menstrual cramps, pain after sex and chronic pain in the lower back and pelvis, spotting between periods, digestive problems and infertility.

Some of the symptoms listed above can occur under normal circumstances as well so many women don’t link it with a more severe health problem. According to the Guardian, “one woman in 10 of reproductive age has endometriosis, it is estimated, and yet often their primary care doctors do not know what it is and the specialists to whom they are sent are ill-informed.”

One of these women is Culumi Nakada , a 25-year-old Japanese model, actress and DJ, who is decided to share her hidden symptoms so other women can seek help sooner.

Culumi was at an acupuncture session when someone commented on the size of her stomach.

“I was already self-conscious. I even went to the gym, but my stomach wasn’t going down,” she said. “I’m such a fatty. I spoke to those around me as if to make fun of myself. Maybe I had eaten too much during the New Year festivities.” she told Buzzfeed News.

When she finally got around to seeing her gynecologist, she was diagnosed with endometriosis and ovarian cysts.

Her enlarged ovaries were the cause of her swollen stomach. She has since gotten laparoscopic surgery to remove the tumor and is now using her experience to warn other women of this hidden condition. She puts emphasis on the importance of routine medical examinations.

“Girls are often said to buy cosmetics and beauty products in order to look cute, right? However, beauty means nothing without health,” she said. “They’ll go to a beauty salon, but they won’t go for a comprehensive medical checkup. Even though they are the same price.”

Culumi wrote about her struggle on her a blog titled, “Every Girl Should Read This. I Beg You.” She told Buzzfeed that she doesn’t mind sharing such personal details because “diseases are no good, but it’s also no good to keep things bottled up. If there’s something you want to do, it’s best if you say so. If there’s something you want to get rid of, it’s best if you cut it out.”

I think every woman can take a page out of Culumi’s book and pay better attention to their bodies. Here’s also hoping that doctors will work harder that being able to diagnose Endometriosis more efficiently.

Of course, the family has also been hit with their fair share of controversy, such as:

But now, the Duggars have another baby to celebrate! So who’s given birth?

On the Duggar family blog, it was announced that a new addition had arrived! Josh Duggar posted this on Tuesday:

“We are so thankful and happy to announce the arrival of our new son, Mason Garrett Duggar. Both he and Anna are doing well. He arrived today without complication and we already adore him. The entire family is ecstatic over the arrival of another beautiful blessing. We want to thank everyone for your prayers, kind words and well wishes. We appreciate it much more than we could ever express. We pray God blesses each of you with an abundance of the kindness you’ve shown us.”

Mason makes child #5 for Josh and Anna, who are already parents to Mackynzie, 7, Michael, 6, Marcus, 4, and Meredith, 2.

Josh and Anna Duggar have been through a lot over the past two years, with Josh going to sex rehab after being caught in the Ashley Madison scandal and admitted to molesting his sisters.

“For nearly the last two years, we have quietly worked to save our marriage, focus on our children, and rebuild our lives together as a family. Doing so is never easy after a breach of trust,” the couple wrote when they announced the most recent pregnancy. “We’ve learned that a life of faith and rebuilding a life together is simply done one day at a time. As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year. Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!”

The couple will be celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary this September.

Congratulations to the Duggar family, and welcome to the world, Mason Garrett!

Man Ate Protein Powder For 3 Weeks Before Finding A Dead Mouse Inside

Warning: You may never look at a bag of whey protein powder the same way again.

25-year-old Adam Brenton from Manchester says he has been using My Protein powder for years, but one day he found something horrifying inside the bag.

Brenton had already been using the shake powder for three weeks when he found a dead mouse embedded in the powder.

“I have ordered from the company for eight years and I’ve never had a problem before,” Brenton said. “Generally speaking I don’t look into the bag, but I started to scoop it out and I felt resistance to the glide through the powder.”

MEN Media

“I didn’t think anything of it, I scooped again and the same thing happened. I then went to see what was in it, and saw the mouse.”

He said he didn’t realize it was a mouse at first. “Then I brought it up to the light and I dropped the bag in horror…I couldn’t eat my dinner because I felt physically sick,” he said.

MEN Media

Brenton claims his health has been put at risk by the incident although he hasn’t reported any illness. He also said his girlfriend had nightmares about the dead mouse. Needless to say, he’s demanding compensation from the company.

Adam regularly buys the 1.45kg bag for £21 online and gets it shipped to his house. He claims the mouse must have got into the bag during processing, since he doesn’t have mice in his house.

MEN Media

“I checked the bag for holes and bite marks and I couldn’t see any,” he said. “The mouse must have been buried in the powder and I have slowly revealed it over the three weeks. I don’t know where in the process it has happened.”

The company responded with a statement: “My Protein treats all customer complaints extremely seriously and is investigating the incident as a matter of urgency.”

Trapped In A Chimney, She Was Days From Death Before Someone Stepped In

Edgar’s Mission in Victoria, Australia normally rescues farm animals. Pam Ahern, who runs the sanctuary, got a call for a rescue and assumed it was a goat, chicken, sheep, or some other type of wild animal.

But when she showed up to a local bakery, it was something a little smaller.

Ahern was called to the bakery by a woman named Jessica, who had said there was a kitten trapped in a chimney.

According to Jessica, the kitten had been crying for days, but no one else at the bakery cared to help. Jessica contacted local emergency services, vets, and rescue groups but no one helped. Ahern knew she had to do something.

“We quickly realized that we were indeed this kitty’s and Jessica’s last hope,” Ahern said. “It was a busy Sunday and chores beckoned, but the plight of the poor animal tugged harder at my heartstrings, so off I went.”

The rescue was tricky. The kitten had fallen deep into the chimney, and the bakery owner was uncooperative. He didn’t want any damage done to his property. Ahern had to wiggle her way up the chimney and grabbed the meowing kitten and brought her to safety.

Ahern named the kitten Jessica, after the woman who saved her life.

Little Jessica was starving and dehydrated, but Ahern knew she could help her recover. Jessica was brought to the sanctuary where she was nursed back to health.

“Being so vulnerable, Jessica was popped inside my jumper and got to meet many, many animals about the farm,” Ahern said. “In particular, the many orphans who bunkered down in the office-cum-nursery during the day.”

Jessica became best friends with Ahern’s dog, E.T.

Jessica has also trained the staff at Edgar’s Mission, using her cuteness to win them over.

“One of her favorite games is to see who will open the door for her,” Ahern explained. “We all work in an office that runs off from the lounge room of my house. Jessica waits until everyone is sitting down, then appears on the other side of the glass door and scratches madly until someone gets up and lets her in. Then, just for a bit of fun, she decides she wants to go back into the house so she wanders over to the glass door, scratches madly until someone gets up … and lets her back into the house again.”

Jessica, like every other kitten, also loves cuddles. But ONLY when it’s a bad time.

“Like when you are madly typing for a deadline, stark naked and about to jump in the shower, and minutes before you have to get out of bed,” Ahern explains.

Now she’s getting bigger, but Jessica is still a huge part of Edgar’s Mission. She has become friends with all the other rescue cats and animals on the farm. Even though she pretends to hate it, Ahern says Jessica loves her new home.

“I love the way she snuggles into your lap and outstretches her paw towards your mouth so you can kiss it,” Ahern says. “Also the way she looks into my eyes then slowly closes hers as if she is in the happiest place on Earth. That makes me feel blessed.”

Kenny Chesney Opens Up About Losing His Home To Hurricane Irma In An Emotional Letter

Residents of Florida and the many small islands in the Caribbean are no strangers to massive storms, but last week’s category five hurricane, Irma, was the strongest Atlantic storm to make landfall in a decade. The winds reached over 180 miles per hour.

A state of emergency was declared for Florida and state officials issued advisories urging people to evacuate ahead of the impending disaster. The National Weather Service reiterated the warnings and said that there was even the possibility that South Florida “may be inhabitable for weeks or months.”

As terrifying as it may sounds, they were not exaggerating the severity of the hurricane.

ABC News

Prior to making landfall in the sunshine state, Irma destroyed a few islands in the northeast Caribbean including Antigua and Barbuda and the U.S. Virgin Islands, where country singer Kenny Chesney owns a home.

Sounds Like Nashville

The star, who is currently on tour, wasn’t on the island when the hurricane hit, but his abode in St. John was completely destroyed. He took to social media to share some devastating photos of the aftermath, accompanied by a heartfelt message including a vow to help those affected rebuild their lives.

The country singer also expressed his heartbreak over the aftermath of Hurricane Irma to HLN’s Morning Express with Robin Meade.

He described the events as “biblical in nature,” and explained that while his property was destroyed, it’s the “place and the people that mean so much more to me than my house.”

The Don’t Blink singer tweeted images of the destruction the island suffered and a letter to his fans.

“As daylight is hitting the islands, and we’re really getting a sense of how bad this all is…I don’t know what to say,” wrote Chesney in the statement. “I’ve never been in war, but the devastation, the people’s faces in a place I know by heart have left me feeling helpless. It’s total devastation.”

Twitter/Kenny Chesney

“These are people who live off the sea, who depend on it. They live right there, and it’s gone. Most everyone’s displaced. They are frightened, confused, and they don’t know where help is going to come from. Those lives have changed and will never be the same. Those small islands are hard to get to and they rely on each other to get through what life hands them. For all of them, though, they’ve been where I’ve leaned for emotional and creative support for fifteen years because they are so generous,” he continued.

Twitter/Kenney Chesney

Chesney admitted that while he doesn’t know where to begin, he knew he wants to help.

“I want to enlist my friends to figure out the best ways to make a difference, to help in whatever ways, small or larger, that we can,” he wrote. “I’m blessed with so many great people… We’re already talking, trying to figure out how to get in there.”

Twitter/Kenney Chesney

“Give us a few days to figure this out. Pray/send good thoughts to everyone who’s been affected or is in the path of Hurricane Irma,” the artist continued. “This is unlike anything they’ve ever seen from St Maartens to St Barths to Puerto Rico then the Caribbean and onto Key West.”

“Be safe. Tell someone how much you care. Remember to Spread the Love,” Chesney concluded.

As promised, it was only a matter of days before Chesney announced the launch of his new relief foundation called Love for Love City.

“I’m gonna do everything that I possibly can to try to relieve some stress from people that I’ve really grown to love over the years, who have meant so much to my life. This place, these islands, have meant so much to me,” Chesney told People.

Liam Neeson Won’t Be Making Any More Action Movies

Starting in 2008 with “Taken”, actor Liam Neeson has made a name for himself as a leading man in a number of action movies that have taken over the box office. Each of his roles have a similar storyline that we just can’t seem to get enough of: one man, his character, against the world.

Now in his mid-sixties, the actor said he’s ready to bow out of roles that have him fighting mobs and faceless villains to focus on more serious roles appropriate for his age.

“They’re still throwing serious money at me to do that stuff,” Neeson said at the Toronto International Film Festival of potential action roles. “I’m like: ‘Guys, I’m sixty-f—ing-five.’ Audiences are eventually going to go: ‘Come on.'”

The Irish actor, who earned an Oscar nomination for his role in the 1993 film “Schindler’s List”, is also well-know for his part in Star Wars: Episode 1, Batman Begins and of course, the Taken trilogy. It was late in his career that he started turning towards the action films, a situation he identified as “all a pure accident.”

This should come as no surprise to fans, as in 2015 he said that he believed he had two years left doing such roles.

“Maybe two more years. If God spares me and I’m healthy,” Neeson said. “But after that, I’ll stop (the action) I think.”

But don’t worry, he’s not done just yet! He still has two more action movies coming up and we couldn’t be more excited.

Two of Neeson’s upcoming movies, “Hard Powder” and “The Commuter” are both action thriller, but it looks like those are the last ones he’s signed up to do.

Take a look at the trailer for the action thriller that will remind you what a lose Liam Neeson will be to action thrillers. The movie is set to release in January.

“Hard Powder”, which has already been filmed, has Neeson playing a snowplough driver who faces off with drug dealers.

Bulgari, the Italian company known for their fine jewelry and accessories, has branched out in Japan with a luxury chocolate shop called Bulgari Il Cioccolato.

Japan isn’t known for celebrating Easter, but when they try something they give it 110, which explains how they came up with this glamorous $55 Easter Egg.

Rocket News

Called the Uovo di Pasqua (which just means Easter Egg) it’s an extra-large egg made from bitter dark chocolate topped with gold leaf.

Unfortunately there were only 50 for sale at the store’s one location in Tokyo, so you’ve probably missed your chance to try it. But reviewers say that the tasty dark chocolate was definitely worth the ridiculous price.

Couple’s Stunning Proposal Is Lighting Up The Internet

For Dale Sharpe, a photographer, creativity often comes easy but when it came to one of the biggest moments of his life, he had to make sure that his creativity was in full gear.

On March 6th, the Australian landscape and wedding photographer proposed to his girlfriend of seven years, Karlie Russell with the most spectacular backdrop, the Northern Lights in Lofoten Islands, Norway!

After Sharpe’s initial proposal failed when he accidentally threw away the ring while on a trip to Iceland, he was determined to get it perfect the second time.

DK Photography

The couple share a passion for photography and had taken countless pictures of the Northern Lights together so it only made sense to have the proposal take place under them 7 years to the day of their first date. Can this story be any sweeter?!

“I hadn’t heard or seen anyone do it before, and I wanted to do something different from everybody else,” Sharpe told Daily Mail Australia

Sharpe tricked Russell into taking a selfie then when the Aurora Borealis started glowing, he got down on one knee and popped the question.

Check out some of the pictures from the jaw-dropping proposal below. I can only image how amazing their wedding photos will be.

If you can’t get enough of the stunning Norwegian landscape, here are more images taken by DK Photography you can gawk at:

Rebel Wilson Won A Record-Breaking Settlement And It Will Make You Want To Stand Up And Cheer

You’ve seen Rebel Wilson in Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids, but the comedic actress has been at the center of a not-so-funny lawsuit.

Wilson has publicized her lawsuit against Bauer Media Group, who she claimed published a ‘series of false articles’ about her which cost her jobs in Hollywood. In mid-June, the actress finished her testimony against Bauer Media Group in Australia.

The jury agreed with Wilson’s testimony but it took two months before the award was decided upon.

Now, the payout has been decided, and it’s the largest one in Australian legal history. It also sets a precedent for future gossip sites.

So what did Wilson get, and what exactly did these false articles say that would cost Wilson work?

Two years ago, a former classmate of Wilson’s ‘exposed’ her allegedly serial lying habit to the tabloid Woman’s Day. The classmate explained how Wilson lied about her age, backstory, and even her name. Bauer Media Group went on to publish a series of eight articles with this information, which Wilson claims cost her work.

According to Dr. Matthew Collins, Rebel Wilson’s lawyer, his client had been lined up for rolls in the blockbuster hits Kung Fu Panda 3 and Trolls but was let go after the claims of Wilson’s serial lying surfaced. Both films said it did not look good for press to have someone with such a controversial background appear in family films.

Wilson sued Bauer Media Group and made it clear that she wanted to change the way media reports on celebrities:

“The reason I’m here is not for damages, it’s to clear my name,” Wilson told press outside of the courtroom. “And the fact the jury has done that unanimously and answered every single of the 40 questions in my favour I think proves what I’ve been saying all along. I was hoping the jury would do the right thing and send a message to these tabloids and they’ve done that so for me, it’s over in my mind. Unfortunately, this was the only way that I could stand up to this huge media organisation was by taking them to court publicly. I’m a person that’s really confident in my own skin and really felt like it was the right thing to do to take this company on and prove how disgusting and disgraceful their chequebook journalism is.”

Today, it was announced that Rebel Wilson would be receiving $4.5 million AUS, which equates to $3.5 million USD. This is the largest settlement for defamation ever awarded in Australia.

“Unless substantial damages are awarded there is a real risk that the public will not be convinced of the seriousness of the defamation, but will rather wrongly conclude that the articles were trivial or not that serious,” justice John Dixon said.

Wilson says she will be donating the money to charity.

Do you think this will change the way tabloids write about celebrities?

12 Things You May Not Have Realized About Mr. Potato Head

We all had one – even our parents had them as children! Mr. Potato Head has been a popular childhood plaything since 1952.

The lovable spud with interchangeable limbs, facial features and accessories provided hours of harmless, silly fun.

Sure, he can look a little weird, but the potato head you know today was a very different dude in the beginning…

You might assume that because he’s a simple spud, there can’t be that much you don’t know about Mr. Potato Head.

The truth is, since he was first invented by George Lerner of New York City in 1952, he has gone through some pretty incredible changes!

Before that sleek plastic potato shaped body, Mr. Potato Head was actually just a collection of limbs and facial features that came in a box.

These spiked adornments could be poked into any vegetable, but, of course, a potato was preferred!

Mr. Potato Head’s creator, George Lerner, couldn’t find a company in the late 1940’s that was interested in selling face-parts for vegetables.

Since post-war families were still cautious about wasting food as playthings for their kids, toy makers didn’t see the value in manufacturing the pieces. He decided to distribute the toy as a prize in cereal boxes.

Brothers, Henry and Merril Hassenfeld, were the owners of a textiles and pencil-box business. While their boxes sold well with school supplies, they hit the jackpot when they swapped out pencils for Mr. Potato Head parts.

The brothers made four million dollars in sales in 1952.

The strength of the Mr. Potato Head sales was such that the Hassenfeld brothers decided to focus solely on making toys and shortened their name to Hasbro.

They became one of the largest toy companies in the world!

Well, sort of. As their way of saying ‘thanks’ to the spud that started it all, Hasbro’s company checks are watermarked with Mr. Potato Head’s face!

French-speaking Canadians know him as Monsieur Patate and he is sometimes sold with a missing tooth!

Why is his tooth missing? From a rough and rowdy game of hockey!

New government laws required That Mr. Potato Head undergo an adorable makeover after anti-choking regulations demanded that all of his parts be large and round enough that no child could swallow them.

Rather than a separate, Mrs. Potato Head, Hasbro originally sold more “feminine” features as a “lady accessory kit” for dressing up Mr. Potato head in the 1070’s.

From 1998 to ’99, The Mr. Potato Head Show had a coveted slot on the Fox Family channel.

Mr. Potato Head holds the record for “Most votes for Mr. Potato Head in a Political Campaign.”

In 1985, he received four votes in the Boise, Idaho mayoral election.
