It’s that time of year when the friendly Easter Bunny hops down the rabbit trail, bringing Easter eggs and chocolate treats to boys and girls everywhere.
But hopefully it’s not one of these Easter Bunnies!
Just like Santa, every kid loves to get their picture taken with a friendly, smiling bunny holding a big basket of eggs, but not every mall can deliver the same happy figure we recognize from our greeting cards.
Instead, some children are stuck posing with what we can only guess are the real Easter Bunny’s strange cousins, and you can tell from their expressions that they’re a little disappointed.
1. They say dogs can sense when something is wrong…
2. Why so serious?
3. This bunny looks like he brings eggs filled with brussel sprouts
4. I’m as confused as she is
5. She’s so happy to meet this friendly alien
6. I think his lashes need a trim
7. It was a simpler time…
8. Wait a minute…do Easter Bunnies wear tennis shoes?
9. Her expression says it all!
10. His eyes are as big as that baby’s head!
11. Great mustache, everything else needs some work
12. Don’t send this photo to grandma, it will just freak her out
13. Just keep smiling….
14. I think this bunny needs to go lie down…
15. The suits have really improved over the years!
16. The mask needs a little work, I think!
18. My, what a big head you have!
19. Who thought this was okay?
20. Say cheese!
21. “Very funny mom, now where’s the real Easter Bunny?”
Share these happy Easter memories with someone you know!

1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Blue & Pink gel food coloring

Add in the butter to the mixer while it blends.
In a separate bowl, mix together your milk, eggs, vanilla a little bit before adding it to the cake mix.
Once it is all blended, separate out about 1/3 – 1/2 of the batter into a separate bowl and add a few drops of food coloring to make it the color of the gender.
Pour the batter into a 13 x 9 baking pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
When it is done and cooled, use a small heart cookie cutter to cut out little hearts from your cake.
Fill half of your cupcake up with batter and add in the little hearts to the center, topping with more of the white batter.
Bake for 14-18 minutes.
While it bakes, prepare your icing by mixing the cream cheese in a bowl with a hand mixer until smooth. Add the butter gradually until smooth and then add the powdered sugar and vanilla until combined.
Use a skewer to put a bead of food coloring gel along each side of the icing bag, one side pink and the other blue.
Fill up the bag with the cream cheese icing and then the gel will mix into a swirl pattern as you circle your cupcakes.
Whether you know the gender of the baby and are surprising your family with it, or you want to help out a friend who gave you the results and the task of letting everyone know, this is the perfect way to let everyone know the happy news!

When Easter comes around, most of us are happy to settle for a few Cadbury cream eggs, or some generic chocolate eggs from the corner store. But if you want to make your holiday extra special this year, we have just the thing.
Bulgari, the Italian company known for their fine jewelry and accessories, has branched out in Japan with a luxury chocolate shop called Bulgari Il Cioccolato.
Japan isn’t known for celebrating Easter, but when they try something they give it 110, which explains how they came up with this glamorous $55 Easter Egg.
Called the Uovo di Pasqua (which just means Easter Egg) it’s an extra-large egg made from bitter dark chocolate topped with gold leaf.
Unfortunately there were only 50 for sale at the store’s one location in Tokyo, so you’ve probably missed your chance to try it. But reviewers say that the tasty dark chocolate was definitely worth the ridiculous price.
If you still need some retail therapy this Easter, this isn’t the world’s most valuable Easter egg. In fact, it’s not even close.
Every show needs a producer to keep it all running. Producers are there to make sure everything goes well during a taping or live performance, and that’s especially true on a talk show. For Ellen DeGeneres, that person is Andy Lassner.
Lassner has been with the show since its inception as the executive producer, but he does a little more than your average producer would. Most of the time, off-screen staff stay off-screen. But over the years, Ellen has included Andy in many of her sketches and bits.
Andy is a funny, often reluctant, good sport when it comes to all the schemes Ellen thinks up. Well…almost all of them. You see, Andy doesn’t like to be scared. He doesn’t like surprises. He just wants to be left alone. But Ellen won’t let that happen. Every year, she sends Andy and a celebrity to a haunted house and films their reaction. It never disappoints.
This year, Ellen sent Andy to a haunted house with American Horror Story actress Sarah Paulson. The result is exactly what you would expect!
Andy and Sarah Paulson went to the American Horror Story maze at Universal Studios. To say Andy was terrified is the understatement of the century! He figured Paulson would be fine, since the house is based off her show.
“You’re going to take the lead!” Lassner told her.
“No. No I’m not,” she replied.
“I need you be stronger,” Lassner says.

The 4th of July always brings a huge party for my family, friends and I, so this time of the year I’m always looking for new and fun treats to bring to the festivities. 4th of July Firecracker Jello Cups are both festive and delicious, and they’re blazing enough on their own if you can’t get some fireworks going!
This jello recipe is kid-friendly, but you could easily follow your favorite jello shots recipe and spike the jello for adults-only jello cups. Either way, these patriotic jello cups will bring the fire to your party!
1 box blue jello
1 box red jello
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 1/3 cups boiling water, divided
1 cup milk, divided
1/4 cup sugar
Maraschino cherries with stems, drained
Clear shot glasses, plastic or glass
In a bowl, mix blue jello with ⅔ cup boiling water until the gelatin has fully dissolved. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
Fill each of your shot glasses one third of the way full with the blue jello, then place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until set.
While blue layer is setting, in a new bowl, add ⅓ cup of milk and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin on top. Set aside.
Bring remaining ⅔ cup of milk to a boil, then remove from heat and add the sugar, stirring until fully dissolved.
Combine heated milk and sugar mixture with the gelatin and milk mixture, stirring until well-blended.
Allow mixture to cool, then once the blue layer has set, fill your shot glasses the next third of the way full with your white milk mixture. Place shot glasses in the refrigerator once more to set, about 30 minutes.
While white layer is setting, mix red jello with ⅔ cup boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Allow to cool.
Once the white layer has set, fill your shot glasses almost to the top with the cooled red jello mixture. Place in the refrigerator for 5 minutes, or until almost partially set.
Place a cherry in the red layer of each shot glass, adjusting the stems to point upward. Add more red jello if needed to fill to the top. Place shot glasses in the refrigerator once more, and serve once fully set. Enjoy!
Too often, Christmas becomes about the gifts instead of the traditions. We all get so wrapped up in the material aspects of the holiday, we forget about the religious meaning.
The Duggar family does not have this issues, however. While they often face criticism for their strict religious beliefs, their Christmas celebrations are something to be admired.
As would be expected, the Duggars focus on the religious aspects of Christmas. They hang banners around the house that says “Happy Birthday, Jesus”, “Christ Is Born!” and “Joy To The World!” They also sing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas Day, which is a tradition that must be fun with so many young kids around.
Michelle Duggar also uses JOY as an acronym during the holiday season, which stands for “Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last.”
Jim Bob Duggar also gathers the family around and reads the story of Christ’s birth from the scriptures. The house is always well-decorated, with nativity scenes being spotted all over during their Christmas tour video.
There’s no Santa Claus in the Duggar household, as they don’t want to take away from the birth of Christ as the reason for the season.
Buying gifts for a family of five can be hard enough, so a family of 21+ sounds impossible. That’s why the Duggars have devised a system of gift-giving that makes things easier on everyone. At Thanksgiving dinner, the family picks names in a Secret Santa-style gift exchange. Younger siblings are matched with younger siblings, while older siblings are matched with older siblings. Jim Bob and Michelle buy gifts for each child and each other.
In addition to their special gift, each child also gets a personalized gift bag including Pringles, beef jerky, and a jar of pickles.
“Almost all of us like pickles, but each one likes a different kind,” Michelle Duggar said. “Same with the Pringles and the beef jerky. Christmas is the one time of year when every child gets their favorite flavor of each treat.”
In addition to giving each other gifts, the family also puts together care packages for those less fortunate. Each basket contains:
Vitamin C packets
They also bake for members of the community, like the fire and police departments, or anyone else who has had a “rough year.”
But amidst all their Christmas decor, two things are noticeably gone. One is not that big of a deal…but the other means there could be trouble in the family.
Though their halls may seem decked, there’s one thing the Duggars don’t have: a Christmas tree. They have a small, fake tree that they use as a symbol, but other than that they think the tree takes away from the religious aspects of Christmas. Although, that wasn’t always the case.
“When we were growing up there was the big tree and all that and we knocked it over several times,” Josh shared many years ago.
After the news of his cheating, prostitution, and molestation scandals all broke at once, Josh Duggar has been persona non grata at Duggar family Christmases. After his scandals, Josh checked himself into rehab, with the family issuing the following statement:
“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before. Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles everyday. It is one of the reasons we treasure our faith so much because God’s kindness and goodness and forgiveness are extended to us — even though we are so undeserving. We hope somehow the story of our journey — the good times and the difficult times — cause you to see the kindness of God and learn that He can bring you through anything.”
According to sources connected with TLC, however, God cannot bring you through Christmas with your disgraced son.
“Jinger was playing piano, kids were running around with toys,” the source said. “It was a normal Christmas just without Josh there. It didn’t feel like an elephant was in the room, Josh has been away for so long, it’s just become normal to have him gone. If some of the family went to see him, that is definitely not something everyone in the family knew.”
What do you think of the family’s Christmas traditions?
Sears is one of those stores that has been around for ever. It’s hard to even imagine life without one in the neighborhood. The most important and iconic thing about Sears is obviously the Wish Book.
Every Christmas season we would tear through the pages, looking for the best toys and the coolest clothes. Honestly, without it, is it really Christmas? We were all forced to consider a Wish Book-free Christmas back in 2011 when the company decided to stop producing the enormous catalog.
We all miss looking through the catalog, but finally Sears has given us some good news. The Wish Book is back, but it’s going to look a little bit different…
Sears has reinvented the Wish Book for 2017, so we can all start making our Christmas lists now! The new Wish Book has been released in an online version and can also be accessed through the Sears app.
It’s not quite the same as the old books, but at least you can get some ideas for your shopping list!
Chief marketing officer for Sears, Kelly cook, said, “Our members told us they missed the Wish Book, so we had to bring it back, but in a special way that lets you share more joy wherever you are. There’s gifting inspiration on every page to help you live life now – during the holiday season and throughout the year.”
Shopping through the online catalog lets you easily and quickly order the items as soon as you see them so your shopping will be done in no time!
Check it out now and get all your shopping done before it’s too late!
You may think that it is too early, I mean, it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet, but for fans of Christmas advertisement campaigns, it is already the most wonderful time of the year.
One of the most anticipated holiday-themed ads has finally released and it was definitely worth waiting an entire year for.
Department store chain John Lewis is honoring its tradition of releasing an emotion-driven annual christmas advert and this year is no different.
A few weeks ago, a source told Ok! Magazine that this year’s ad will be nothing like rest.
“This year the John Lewis advert will revolve around a big cuddly monster,” explained the source. “If you can imagine a cross between the Gruffalo and a huge, cute teddy bear, that’s the angle they’ve gone for. Filming for the advert wrapped a couple of months ago but they’ve been doing a lot of post production to get the special effects just right.
“Families are going to love the finished product, it’s a really emotional advert with a lovely ending.”
Well, they were telling the truth.
The U.K-based company premiered their much-awaited advert this week and it’ll have you reaching for the tissues because the happy tears will be streaming down your face.
John Lewis’s latest campaign features a giant imaginary monster called Moz, who lives underneath the bed of a young boy.
The ad tells the story of the boy’s friendship with the monster under his bed, set to a cover of “Golden Slumbers” by The Beatles.
The ad is directed by the Oscar-winning Michel Gondry, and he had some big shoes to fill.
“When I told my ex-girlfriend I was doing the next John Lewis Christmas film she said, ‘You have big shoes to fill, this John Lewis commercial must make people cry, don’t forget’,” explained Gondry. “Last week I showed it to her and she cried. Phew.”
Gondry succeeded in warming plenty more hearts and making even more people cry.
Omg a farting, snoring monster! Absolutely love it I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry so did both. @johnlewisretail you’ve done it again. 😢😍❤️ #MozTheMonster
It isn’t even Halloween yet, but the most wonderful time of the year is only ten Fridays away and Starbucks is already getting everyone excited.
Every year since 1997, the coffee-chain unveils limited-edition cups just in time for the holidays to celebrate the spirit of the season.
Over the years, Starbucks’ red cups helped spread cheer by featuring festive art and joyful quotes. However, more recently, the company drifted away from the iconic design-heavy cups to a more minimalist look.
A lot of customers were upset because the plain cups lacked the decor that everyone waits all year long to see. Starbucks took this feedback, and last year they unveiled 13 cups with Christmas-esque designs created by customers from all over the world.
Now, the company may once again be trying something new with their holiday cups. Although Starbucks hasn’t made an official announcement yet, an employee and Reddit user DarthSpoopy shared a photo of what appears to be this year’s festive cups, and they’re not red!
Ready to see what they look like?
DarthSpoopy posted the photo of a stack of cups that are allegedly the short cup designs for the 2017 holiday season.
“Just got it in our order. Holiday short cup design!??” the caption read.
Check it out:
Of course, the first thing that sticks out is that unlike the past cups, the red, black and green decor are on a white background instead of red.
There’s definitely no way Starbucks can receive backlash for the the decor because it doesn’t get any more festive than Christmas trees, wrapped presents, stars and snowflakes. Even so, we won’t hold our breath.
There’s also a chance that the taller cups could feature different motifs than the one seen here. After all, the coffee retailer offered 13 options last year.
There’s no official confirmation of these designs or when the cups will be available, but based on previous launch dates, it’ll likely occur in mid-November.
Anyone who’s ever done their best to go every extra mile possible when it comes to setting up for the holidays, knows just how close we can be to going from festive and cheerful, to inches away from pulling a Clark Griswold and absolutely losing it.
The holidays can be an incredibly stressful time for tons of reasons. There’s gift shopping to be done, decorations to put up, family members to coordinate seeing (good freaking luck if they don’t all live in the same area), and most of call, needing to pick out the perfect Christmas tree.
As much as we all love seeing the Peanuts gang realize that their tiny little decrepit tree really isn’t all that bad, we’re definitely a lot more picky when it comes to finding that perfect cone-shaped fir to sit in the corner of our living rooms. Whether you’re buying them from a lot or cutting one down yourself, it can be something of a complicated process, one full of tough decisions.
As such, it’s probably not surprising that when a man from Sudbury, Massachusetts found his perfect tree, he wasn’t going to let anything stop him from getting it home; not even the fact that it was bigger than his freaking car…
Local police responded with a mix of shock and amusement upon spotting a man driving a vehicle with an immensely large tree that almost encompassed his entire vehicle driving down the street.
“Sudbury PD would like to remind you to transport your Holiday trees responsibly,” the caption read. “One of our officers stopped this vehicle on Route 20 today!”
While the police force is taking this seriously, their Facebook audience are not without a sense of humor either.
“Must be Chevy Chase,” meaning we’re not the only ones who instantly think of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation when we see something like this.
Another asked, “Clark Griswold in Sudbury?”
Please be sure to stay safe during the holidays. Shared does not want any of you to get hurt or hurt someone else over a Christmas tree.
If you’re a parent or grandparent who loves Christmas, chances are one of the things you get the most excited about is taking your little one to meet the man in red himself, Santa Claus. It’s the perfect start to the holiday season, and usually comes alongside a bunch of other festive activities, like decorating the house, baking cookies, and doing your shopping.
Or course, anybody who’s actually taken their toddler to meet Santa can tell you that it’s not always quite as simple and straightforward as you would hope. Toddlers don’t always like being handed off to a mysterious old man they’ve never met before, and the fact that he is (allegedly) the one that brings them presents and is supposed to be a jolly friend to good children is often kind of lost on them. A quick look at the internet shows that there’s no shortage of photos of kids being absolutely terrified of Santa Claus.
So it came that Kerry Spencer, the mother to a toddler, took her son to visit the man in red at her local mall, and much like many children before him, the kid just was not having it. However, instead of screaming and crying like most children would, he had a bit of a different way of expressing how he felt…
Spencer posted her son’s reaction to meeting jolly old Saint Nick online, where it quickly went viral. Not only does he have a look of pure confusion and terror on his face, but the best part is the sign he’s making with his hands.
See, her son speaks American Sign Language, and in that particular language, the sign he’s making is the sign for “help.” So he’s concerned for his life and literally asking for help. It’d be tragic if it wasn’t so adorable and hilarious.
In baby sign you go with what they do. We showed him the ASL version and this is what he did.
Spencer seems to be handling both her and her son’s internet fame quite well, taking time to explain the picture to other Twitter users. Hopefully her son was able to ask Santa for what he wanted once he got over his initial fear!
Have you ever had a child get scared of Santa Claus? Let us know in the Facebook comments!
Let’s face it people: nobody likes flying if they can help it. It’s stressful, it’s crowded, the whole process takes forever, and it often results in a ton of discomfort and possibly even lost possessions. And that’s just when things go well!
Pretty much everybody who’s ever flown anywhere has encountered delays before, and it’s pretty much the worst thing ever. You’re tired and just want to get wherever you’re going, and whether it’s because of weather, issues on the tarmac, or even just one person having something in their luggage that they probably shouldn’t, delays can sometimes mean that your flight doesn’t leave for HOURS after it was supposed to.
It’s hard to stay patient during these situations, especially since half the time the airline staff just give you the same generic responses that everybody else is. I mean, I know they don’t know when you’re going to take off any better than they do, but could they not at least try to do SOMETHING to make the experience less awful?!
Well, on a recent United Airlines flight that was stuck on the tarmac because of a snowstorm, one flight attendant decided that the passengers needed a way to blow off some steam and pass the time. Fortunately, he had just the thing to entertain the entire crowd…
The as yet unnamed flight attendant grabbed a ukulele, and joined alongside another man in a performance of “Jingle Bells” to entertain the entire plane’s worth of passengers. The duo soon became a trio however, as a young woman joined in with her beautiful voice, making it a genuine caroling session for the entire plane.
Fortunately for us, the rest of the passengers were able to capture the event on video, meaning that the entire internet is now able to get a glimpse of the joyful performance that had everyone just a little less upset about their flight’s delay.
What do you think? Would this pick you back up after your flight had just been delayed?
What’s the most dangerous thing you’ve ever eaten? Insects? Raw chicken? It’s hard to think of a “dangerous” food that isn’t just “unusual.” But one ice cream parlor is offering up “the most dangerous ice cream in the world” but you’ll have to sign a waiver before you eat it.
The Aldwych Café and Ice-Cream Parlour has launched a new flavor of ice cream for Valentine’s Day, but because of the contents of the treat, you have to legally absolve the parlor of any injuries you might incur while eating it.
So what could possibly be so dangerous in this ice cream?
The ice cream is called Respiro Del Diavolo (Breath of the Devil), and comes in at 1,569,300 SHU on the Scoville scale. For reference, this means it is 500 times spicier than Tabasco sauce. Only people over the age of 18 are allowed to try it.
Lee Bandoni, brother of cafe owner Martin, says there’s actually a history behind the devilishly hot treat.
“It started in Italy,” Bandoni shared. “There was a place called Devils Bridge and with that, the Italian ice cream families used to meet up once a year and discuss how the year went for them. At that point, if there were any men that showed bravery then they would eat this ice cream. So, because of the Devils Bridge, they called this the Breath of the Devil. Every year it still happens over there and this year when Martin was away earlier in the month he brought back the idea that was passed down to him. The recipe is very secret, very few of us know it and when the time is right Martin’s children will get to find out about it and they will go to Italy and learn the ins and outs of it.”
“We had to check with the standards agency to explain what was in it and explain that it is like a thermal nuclear explosion in your mouth,” Bandoni explained. “That took a bit of time to get it sorted but they were happy as long as we included a disclaimer. Our family in Italy see it as an honor to bring something like this here.”
The disclaimer mentions that consuming the ice cream “could be a risk of personal injury, illness and possible loss of life.”
Lee says it’s something that everyone should try for Valentine’s Day.
“A lot of Italian guys go and have a romantic evening with their girlfriends or wives and they will have some of this ice-cream because it is a well-known fact that chili is an aphrodisiac and it is nice with a glass of wine bubbling in your mouth,” said Lee. “People should come try it.”
There are less than 2,000 people in the small town of Sea Girt, New Jersey, and last week all of them became suspects in a bizarre vandalism case.
City workers were testing the town’s Christmas tree before the lighting ceremony on Friday, when they realized the lights weren’t working at all. A closer investigation revealed the wires had been “sliced and cut.”
Soon, the townspeople were on the hunt for a Christmas vandal, and news reports blamed naughty kids for the damage. “Somebody is trying to steal the spirit of Christmas,” one local complained.
City workers were forced to scramble to keep the lights working until the ceremony, and to watch the tree carefully in case the Scrooge who wrecked it came back.
Meanwhile, the police were baffled by the crime, and hoped that news coverage would help them identify the holiday display vandal. In the end, they were right: someone had wrecked the display, and they were caught thanks to the extra attention.
But nothing else about this case turned out the way police imagined.
When Sea Girt police finally released a photo of the Christmas vandal last weekend, it wasn’t the kind of “local” people expected.
It turns out a squirrel had been the one tearing up the town’s Christmas display, which probably means he was chewing through the wires and not “slicing” them like people thought.
“The Sea Girt Police Department is proud to report that the case of our broken holiday lights has been solved,” officers wrote on Facebook.
“We are happy that no human acted as a grinch in this incident. The squirrel was ‘charged’ with criminal mischief and released on bail.”
Despite what they wrote, the squirrel wasn’t actually captured, and authorities will be keeping an eye on the tree for the rest of the Christmas season, in case he returns.
Strangely, this isn’t the first case of a squirrel stealing Christmas. Last year, a homeowner from Seattle caught a squirrel stealing her Christmas lights and burying them in her yard like nuts.
In the holiday justice system, dogs are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The police, who investigate the naughty, and the district attorneys, who put them on time-outs. These are their stories…
When the undersheriff of New Mexico’s San Juan Country heard about the horrific tragedy that involved a beloved member of the Christmas elf community, he had no idea that the culprit would be right under his own nose.
In a hilarious video released by Shane Ferrari, said undersheriff, he documents the discovery of the “grisly crime scene” that was his house, after his 2-year-old Boston Terrier, Josie, sunk its tiny teeth into one of his holiday elves.
“I’ve been a cop for 20 years, and I’ve seen a lot of ugly, gruesome scenes, but this was probably the worst,” he outlines in the video.
The pictures show a horrifying mess of stuffing and strewn body parts. And the investigation was not easy for this officer of the “paw!”
Ferrari didn’t want to believe his lovable pup would do something so heinous. However, his interrogation left him with no doubts.
“As I looked into Josie’s eyes, I saw nothing but guilt,” he said. “It was sad.”
He booked Josie for the crime and placed her into cuddle-custody. She is currently being held under house-arrest with no chance at parole, except for mandatory daily walks with a maximum security leash.
Several members of the holiday elf family have begun staging “protests,” holding signs of “Boston Terror” and “Elf Lives Matter.”
It seems like it will be a “ruff” Christmas time at the Ferrari household this year.
Share if you believe Josie deserves a fair trial and a belly rub!
