This Stunning Time-Lapse Reveals New York’s True Beauty In The Spring

There is nothing quite as magical as spring in New York. The flowers are blooming everywhere – on the ground and in the trees!

If you are lucky enough to take a stroll through Central Park, you’ll know is how easy it is to forget that you’re surrounded by one of the world’s largest cities.

A New York-based filmmaker was inspired by the daffodils, grape hyacinths, cherry blossoms and other stunning plants that bloom from late April through to September. It took three years for filmmaker Jamie Scott to shoot the gradual opening of every flower.

Even though the process was a long, detailed endeavor that covered multiple locations, the end result is absolutely worth the wait.

The video is carefully pieced together as one long, continuously moving shot that features close-ups of flowers blooming.
