When Prince Harry and Melania Trump came together to open the Invictus Games, a sporting event that helps wounded, injured or sick soldiers.
His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales looked quite uncomfortable standing next to Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States.
While their meeting appeared officially formal, there was something about Harry’s posture that sparked some questionable conspiracy theories…
With the cameras rolling, their meeting seemed polite and formal. Prince Harry reached out for a firm handshake with America’s First Lady before the two stood together for photos.
But it was Prince Harry’s body language and a particular hand position that drew the attention of keen-eyed observers.
He held the position for several minutes, which, to some, suggested that it wasn’t an accident.
Just two hours after their meeting aired on television, Twitter users were quick to point out how Harry’s odd hand gesture looked like the sign of the devil.
While some just openly wondered what he could possibly be doing with his fingers like this,
A few others joked that he was warding off evil with the hand gesture as he stood next to Melania.
Patti Wood, a body language expert, revealed to the Daily Mail that Harry’s body language suggests he was feeling restrained and cautious around Melania; the First Lady appeared nervous meeting the Prince.
While it is proper etiquette to clasp his hands and gesture low to the body, Wood suggested that his gesturing seemed to indicate that Prince Harry needed to protect himself during the interaction.
What do you think? Could it have been something as simple as he could only fit two fingers between the buttons of his jacket?
Streaming services have made it easy to binge watch some of your favorite shows (from the past and present) without having to go to the store to buy the DVD box set. In the spirit of Halloween, I have found myself looking to shows with a spooky element to them.
The 90s were fantastic for paranormal based shows, but even in the last decade or so, several great shows have made their way to TV. These 8 shows are definitely worth watching during the month of October, or any other month of the year to be honest.
Mulder and Scully were the original supernatural “detectives” on television. The perfect combination of skeptic and believer helped deliver a dynamic show that was both interesting, and occasionally horrifying. Over ten seasons from 1993 – 2002 we all put on our tinfoil hats or pulled out our encyclopedia of monsters and enjoyed the show on a weekly basis.
In April 2017, Fox announced that the X-Files would be coming back for a ten episode season 11. If you have never watched the show before it’s worth watching it, or better yet, starting all the way back at the beginning.
Charmed was one of those shows that came out in the late 90s and early 2000s that put a normal everyday spin on the world of the supernatural. It followed three sisters who found out that they had magic powers after their grandmother died.
The three “Charmed Ones” fought off a variety of demons, spirits and other supernatural disasters waiting to happen. They managed to do all of this while also leading completely normal lives, dealing with work and personal issues at the same time. Not a terribly “scary” show, but the show’s supernatural chops make it worth of Halloween. 8 seasons of “witchy” goodness.
This was one of my favorite shows as a kid, both because I found the show awesome, but also because I had a massive boyhood crush on Sarah Michelle Gellar. The title says it all, Buffy fights vampires in an attempt to protect the residents of Sunnydale from the evil lurking below.
The series follows Buffy as she moves through high school, college and into early adulthood. She fights everything from vampires to ancient demon beasts hell-bent on bringing about the end of the world. Over 7 seasons we saw it all, and when it all ended we were all a little broken hearted. There is something for everyone so please, if you haven’t seen it before, put it on your list of things to do.
This spin-off from Buffy actually became wildly successful. Angel was one of the fan favorites from the original show, and when he got his own show based out of a dark and supernaturally dangerous Los Angeles everyone loved it.
Angel started working alongside a cast of characters led by “The Powers That Be” to do battle on behalf of the human race. My favorite part of the show was that they made the regular villain a crooked law firm leading to some very entertaining story lines. A studio disagreement held this show to only five season, but it is well worth a good binge watch.
I remember when I first found this series. I was living in a small town and one of my roommates handed me the box set of season one and suggested that I give it a try. Within two episodes I was hooked. Two brothers, the Winchesters, who have had one of the darkest and hardest upbringings a child could endure, travel across the U.S using fake ids and stolen credit cards to fight evil and save lives.
The show’s writers went deep into the lore surrounding demons, ghosts, monsters, and biblical end-bringers to create a world that is barely held together under the nose’s of the unsuspecting people. The show did “jump the shark” following season 5, but you can still catch new episodes from season 13 today. What’s next for Sam and Dean?
Many of you will have already seen the movie Constantine, starring Keanu Reeves. The movie and the subsequent show are based off the graphic novel Hellblazer. John Constantine is an exorcist who is called back into duty in order to stop the beginning of the end of days. It is well-written, awesome to watch, and has great character development. It was also genuinely scary on a weekly basis.
Unfortunately the show only lasted one season, but there are rumors that it may be making a comeback.
Based off of the urban-fantasy novels of the same name by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden is a wizard, one of the magi, who openly practices in modern day Chicago. I am going to be a little biased as I am a huge fan of the books, the show wasn’t “amazing”, though it is still worth watching if you need to get a dose of the supernatural in a modern setting. The series only lasted on season, and it was produced by Nicholas Cage.
I had been staring at this show on Netflix for a few weeks before I actually decided to give it a chance. I was not disappointed. The show is fantastic and is exactly what you would expect from a show about priests battling demons for the souls of the innocent. I wont drop any spoilers as the first season is currently available on Netflix, but once you get to the twist, your head may explode from the sheer amazingness of it. You might want to re-watch the movie starring Linda Blair.
These shows will keep you busy around Halloween, and are always worth watching during the other months of the year.
All supernatural movies are not by definition “scary”. Sure they all have horror elements intertwined into them, but for a number of movies over the last 10-15 years, they have become supernatural action movies, complete with their own epic fight scenes.
The way I see it, scary movies aren’t for everyone (but I am a huge fan myself). And if you happen to be one of those people who isn’t into sleeping with the lights on but you still enjoy the lore surrounding the supernatural world, these are the movies you should be watching.
The whole Blade Trilogy series is amazing, including the action-packed thrill-ride that is Blade Trinity. We at Shared wholly support the entirety of this exciting fantasy storyline.
Wesley Snipes plays the ass-kicking half-vampire half-human Blade. Though vampires are said to have originated with Dracula, the movie series (again with the exception of number 3) creates their own universe based off of the original vampire myth. And yes, there is a lot of epic, and well choreographed, fight scenes. The first and second movies are well worth the watch.
The first time I saw this movie I was unsure going into it whether I would like it or not. 30 minutes in I was enthralled with how the writers had slightly modified the story of Dracula to bring us this gem of a film.
Outside of the story (which again is fantastic) the fight scenes throughout this movie are epic and make for a very entertaining watch. Even though Dracula is always seen as an evil character, it’s hard not to root for him as the anti-hero that he is throughout the film. Here is an example of a monster trying to save the people he is sworn to protect.
This movie’s story line borders on garbage, and at times it can frustrate you with how forced it feels. But what it lacks in intelligent creativity, it makes up for in its scenes of supernatural violence. Aaron Echart actually plays his role well, and makes you again want to root for a monster. Check it out if you are looking for a cheesy yet entertaining movie. Frankenstein attempting to save the human race from Hell’s legions…
Yes, I admit it. This movie as a story isn’t that great. And it goes well off course in regards to the legend of Abraham Van Helsing. Also mashing Dracula, werewolves, Mr. Hyde, and Frankenstein all into the same flick feels a bit desperate. But a monster is a monster and this movie delivers in that regard. Hugh Jackman whoops a lot of ass as he makes his way through Transylvania on a collision course with Count Dracula, and his own past. Fights a plenty, and all are enjoyable.
This post-apocalyptic, western, vampire film (yes you read that correctly) actually has a pretty decent story line. Priests are no longer just men of the cloth who serve the church in an attempt to save the souls of mankind. In this version they are supercharged vampire hunters who use a variety of weapons to take apart the creatures of the night.
The fight scenes in this movie are well done, and leave you leaning in closer to the screen to get a real good look at the action.
In a world still oblivious to the existence of vampires and werewolves (at least for the first two films), a war has been raging for centuries between the two races of supernatural monsters. Vampires are portrayed as civilized “people” who no longer have to prey on human beings. Where as werewolves are shown to be bloodthirsty monsters who come out of the shadows to hunt whatever they want.
The movie’s werewolves are huge, powerful beasts that attack with reckless abandon, often outmatching the vampires in strength. But for what they lack in strength they make up for in speed and intelligence. I haven’t been disappointed in any of the movies from this series yet.
First off, a movie that stars Vin Diesel, Michael Caine, and Elijah Wood should be a blockbuster. Unfortunately, the writing for this movie is terrible, but it still had its moments. Diesel as the immortal witch hunter whoops a lot of ass throughout the movie and the opening fight scene is actually quite haunting. The writing and stroy line might blow chunks, but the cinematography, special effects and fight scenes actually make this a have decent movie experience.
This remake of the classic monster film is actually pretty well done (though I recommend the extended cut as opposed to the shortened version). This film doesn’t cut any stereotypes, humans good, werewolves bad, end of discussion. It has an awesome twist when you discover Sir Anthony Hopkins is actually the villain hidden in plain site, and the one who infects Lawrence (his own son). The scenes of destruction involving the supernatural beasts are awesome, and the end fight scene between two monster wolves is quite entertaining.
The Mummy remake first hit the big screen in 1999, and the franchise took off. The perfect mix of humor, “horror”, and violence make these movies a lot of fun to watch. The fight scenes are also great because of how they vary from moment to moment. Guns, swords, explosives, fists, and just about anything else they can get their hands on are used to lay some pretty epic beat downs.
Sorry everyone, this movie is terrible, with one exception, the fight scenes are awesome. Most people forget that the original Grimm’s Fairy Tales were dark stories that you wouldn’t want to read to your children in this day and age, and this movie attempted to get closer to the originals. Terrible movie, awesome fights. Worth watching at least once for some light entertainment.
How do you feel about “horror” movies that focus more on action/fight sequences than actually scaring viewers?
Whether you believe in ghosts or not, there are some eerie accounts of encounters with visitors from the afterlife that will surely give you chills. One such example is Goldie Hawn’s story about using an ouija board.
The actress was a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show back in 1987, and during the interview she decided to share her goosebumps-inducing experience.
Back in the 80s, the Private Benjamin actress and her partner, Kurt Russell, were at home enjoying a few glasses of wine before calling it a night when their children’s ouija board caught their attention.
“I said, ‘We’ve got to throw this thing out, get rid of it, burn it. But before we do… why don’t we try it?’” suggested Hawn.
Although Russell was more of a skeptic than Hawn, he still agreed to take part in the session. Along with their nanny, the Hollywood couple proceeded to give the board a try, even though paranormal experts advise against the casual use of it. The use of an ouija could open up a door to other dimensions, and if Stranger Things has taught us anything it is that unknown dimensions are dangerous.
“Most often the spirits whom are contacted through the Ouija are those whom reside on ‘the lower astral plane,'” explained ghost researcher Dale Kaczmarek of the Ghost Research Society.
“These spirits are often very confused and may have died a violent or sudden death; murder, suicide, etc. Therefore, many violent, negative and potentially dangerous conditions are present to those using the board.”
So as you can imagine, Hawn, Russell, and the nanny were getting themselves into something that could go wrong very quickly.
The trio placed their hands on the planchette, and Hawn kicked off the session by asking questions and writing the letters down.
“I was taking the letters down. Kurt was blindfolded on one end and our nanny … was on the other end, and they could not see where this thing was going,” Hawn explained.
As soon as the planchette’s window started revealing letters, Hawn began to get chills.
Hawn’s first question was “Who is with us now?”
The planchette began to move, revealing the letters that spelled N-E-W B-A-B-Y R-U-S-S-E-L-L.
“I get the chills just thinking about it,” she told Oprah.
Hawn, who had two young children, Oliver and Kate Hudson, was not yet pregnant with her third child.
Still, she kept her composure and asked, “Do you know what you want to be?”
“H-A-P-P-Y,” the planchette spelled.
Hawn then followed it with, “Who is willing you in?”
“O-L-I-V-E-R,” answered the spirit.
“I promise you,” Hawn told Oprah. “Not ‘O, maybe L.’ It was ‘O-L-I-V-E-R.’ Inside, I’m screaming.”
While Hawn was still reeling from the shock, her son woke up from his sleep and came running down the stairs. Russell and the nanny still had no idea what was going on.
“He comes running downstairs,” Hawn recalled. “It was like two in the morning. ‘Mommy,’ he said, ‘I’m scared.’ He had some weird thing happen to him when he was sleeping. Nightmare.”
The actress tucked her son back in bed, before returning to the ouija board to ask one last question: “Do you know that you’re coming to me?”
The planchette replied, “Y-E-S. B-Y-E B-Y-E M-O-M-M-Y.”
The trio ended their session, but the answers always stuck with Hawn, even as she gave birth to her third child, Wyatt Russell, on July 10, 1986.
“When the baby came and everything was joyous, Oliver came and he picked the baby up and he laid down on the bed with him. He said, ‘Mom, I can’t believe he’s here and he’s mine,’” Hawn said. “It’s an enormous connection.”
Do you believe the ouija board predicted the birth of Goldie’s child?
If you believe you’ve noticed some paranormal activity in your home, you’re not alone.
As many as 45 of Americans say they believe in ghosts, and that includes lots of celebrities. Some have even shared the spooky stories about their encounters with the paranormal.
1. Emma Stone
The La La Land actress insists she’s haunted by one of her relatives. While Stone never met her grandfather, she says he had “a long family history with quarters,” and the actress finds the coins in the most unusual places. “My grandfather leaves quarters. It’s him. It’s absolutely him,” she says.
2. Jenna Bush-Hager
Is the West Wing haunted? This former First Daughter thinks so. She described being woken up by the fireplace in her bedroom when “all of a sudden I heard 1920’s music coming out.” While she “freaked out,” her sister Barbara was more logical. “Please go back to sleep,” she said. “This is ridiculous.”
The Dukes of Hazzard star recalls waking up at 2 a.m. to find “somebody was going through something right in front of the bed.” He described the spirit as a man in a raincoat, with a suit underneath “from the late ’50s or early ’60s.” When the man turned around, he quickly vanished.
Schneider thought it was a dream, until he woke up and told his wife about it. She had seen the same man.
4. Johnny Galecki
The Big Bang Theory actor owns a 150-year-old cabin, which he says is so haunted. Creepy and unexplained things happen so often inside the building that Galecki forbids his guests from discussing anything strange.
One night a guest broke his rule, and just afterwards a light bulb exploded over another friend’s head.
5. Miley Cyrus
This judge from The Voice once fled her apartment for a hotel room after seeing a ghost. Cyrus heard her little sister screaming in the bathroom of her London flat. “I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but she hadn’t turned it and it was burning her,” she told Elle UK. “She was really red.”
Before she ran out of the apartment, Cyrus spotted “this little boy sitting there on the sink, kicking his feet.”
6. Demi Lovato
The pop star calls her childhood home in Texas “so ridiculously haunted,” and even claims to know the ghost’s name. Lovato has been speaking to a ghost named Emily since she was a little girl. “There were so many times that I saw her when I was growing up,” the singer remembers.
“When I was 3 years old my mom caught me talking to something by myself. She asked, ‘Who are you talking to?’ and I said, ‘My best friend Emily.’ She’s playful. Younger.” Even after being visited by mediums and ghost hunters, Emily still dwells in the home.
7. Dan Akyroyd
The Ghostbuster star has spoken openly about his belief in the paranormal. He believes he was haunted himself by another celebrity, “Mama” Cass Elliott from the band The Mamas and the Papas.
Akyroyd bought Elliott’s former home, and says it was haunted by the singer and another man. Along with bumps in the night and moving objects, Akyroyd had a close encounter with one of the ghosts.
“I was alone in the house and decided to take a nap. I closed the door to the bedroom but didn’t lock it. I woke up…I saw the door open, and I rolled over and looked at the bed, and I saw the depression in the mattress, like somebody was getting in there. And I thought, ‘I’m just going to roll over and snuggle up next to it.’ I’d be surprised if I was his type, but when you’re dead, you’ll take what you can get.”
8. Carrie Fisher
The late Star Wars actress revealed she was haunted for months after one of her close friends died in her home. Political strategist R. Gregory Stevens died of an overdose while sleeping in Fisher’s bed, and she left his clothes in her closet for months.
At night, she would feel his presence in her bedroom. “Lights would go on and off, and this [talking] toy machine [I had] would go off in the night, by itself, in my closet.” A psychic blamed the disturbances on Stevens’s restless soul.
9. Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn
This mother-daughter acting duo insist that they “see dead people,” but describe it as “feeling a spirit” instead of actually seeing one. Hudson revealed they even have a method for dealing with ghosts. “When you see something, you are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don’t belong there.”
10. Keanu Reeves
The action movie star described a scary brush with the unexplained when he was just six or seven years old. “There was a doorway and all of a sudden this jacket comes waving through the doorway, this empty jacket — there’s no body, there’s no legs, it’s just there. And then it disappears.” The actor thought he must have imagined the sight, until he saw his nanny’s terrified face and realized it had really happened.
11. Matthew McConaughey
Ironically, McConaughey was promoting Ghosts of Girlfriends Past when he shared his own ghost story. The actor described sharing his apartment with “Madame Blu,” the cranky ghost of its former owner.
“She wasn’t that happy,” he said about their first meeting. “It didn’t seem like she was going to be much fun to hang around or have in my house, so I went ahead and stood my ground. I opened the door and said ‘You can move around all you want but I’m not going anywhere.’ For weeks everyone that came to the house said the same thing: ‘There’s someone down in that hall, there’s somebody down in that hall.'”
12. Aaron Carter
On Celebrity Ghost Stories, the pop star revealed that his grandmother asked him to perform a ritual when she died. Carter described her as a true believer in the afterlife, who wanted to prove its existence.
Following her instructions, after she died Carter lit a candle and blew it out. He says his grandmother materialized in his room out of a rush of cold air and said “I told you,” before vanishing.
13. Rue McClanahan
The Golden Girls actress made an arrangement with her close friend Rill before he died, asking him to send her a sign from beyond the grave using electricity. The night he died, she stayed in his home, and says Rill kept his promise.
Light bulbs shattered, computers went haywire, and Rill even manifested in the living room, telling McClanahan “Hey, it’s no big deal.”
Conspiracy theorists have been buzzing ever since a Russian man claimed to be born on Mars.
Boriska Kipriyanovich, a 21-year-old from Volgograd, has been called an “Indigo Child” by his parents, who claim he has exhibited special powers from a young age. Boriska’s mother describes him as a “genius” who learned things much faster than the average child, claiming he could read when he was just two months old.
“No one has ever taught him,” she said. “Sometimes he would sit in a lotus position and start telling us detailed facts about Mars, planetary systems and other civilizations.”
As he grew older, Boriska’s parents say he started to make strange claims about life in outer space, before revealing he was born on Mars.
The Russian man claims that he was born on the red planet and lived there before being “re-born” on Earth in 1996. He also claims to have lived a past life in Lemuria (better known as Atlantis). In a video that went viral in his native country, Boriska describes his life in outer space and his first visit to Earth.
He also makes some surprising claims about one of ancient Egypt’s most famous monuments…
Boriska was the subject of a 2008 documentary called Boriska: Indigo Boy from Mars, where he openly discusses his otherworldly claims.
He says that he and his fellow Martians were 7 feet tall, could breathe carbon dioxide, and that they stopped aging at 35 to become immortal. So why leave his home on Mars? Boriska blames “a catastrophe” on his home planet. “There was a nuclear war between them,” he explains. “Everything burnt down. Only some of them survived.”
Boriska claims that those survivors moved underground, which is why scientists haven’t found any other Martians yet. But the young man’s most shocking revelation is that he visited Earth as a Martian, and that “his people” had a close relationship with the ancient Egyptians.
“The human life will change when the Sphinx is opened, it has an opening mechanism somewhere behind the ear,” he says, referring to the famous monument in Giza, Egypt. “I do not remember exactly.”
Of course there are very few people who believe any of Kipriyanovich’s claims, but they certainly make us wonder about life outside of our own planet. Since taping the original video the “Indigo Child” hasn’t revealed any more about Mars, but the truth is out there.
Magicians have always caught our attention, with their supernatural abilities to make us believe the impossible is taking place. They also seem to have a cool companion to help them, and it’s fun to see the spectacular illusions they can create together. With these two…not so much.
They aren’t quite Penn and Teller, but they are gaining a huge audience because of their viral videos where they seem to have trouble getting through even a single trick.
The pair have great chemistry. The main magician, who goes by A Gan, begins with really cool tricks that we can’t seem to figure out.
However, his grumpy assistant appears to be a little fed up with him, and always finds a way to reveal the secrets as A Gan performs.
Whether he is tired of playing second fiddle or merely upset with his partner is unclear, all we know is this poker-faced bystander has had enough of the tricks!
As all great partner comedy sketches, the tension builds with each segment until they end up fighting it out.
These are the funniest videos that they have released so far!
We’re not sure what makes these videos so great to watch; the skill that A Gan has (as well as his laughable ego), or the calm way that his ‘assistant’ shuts him down!
We have to admit, the beginning of the illusion has us stupefied…
But the way his assistant reveals him is without mercy!
Some of these had us going for a second…
It doesn’t matter where, it doesn’t matter how, he just won’t let him be!
So far their videos have conjured thousands of views, and everyone is excited to see both the mystifying tricks that A Gan comes up with, and the laughable way that his partner shuts them down!

There’s something haunting the halls of Deerpark school, and the staff say it isn’t a student.
You may remember this security camera video, which went viral last month. A camera positioned in the school’s hallway recorded a number of spooky, unexplained events near a bank of lockers. In the video, you can see doors slamming, papers flying out of lockers, and a plastic sign being knocked down by an invisible force.
When the video went viral around the world, the school’s deputy principal Aaron Wolfe claimed he “couldn’t understand how this had occurred,” but said if it was a prank “it’s very well done!” Since Wolfe started working at the school last year, he says teachers and other staff have complained about bizarre events.
The halls of Deerpark are said to turn unnaturally chilly, and staff have even reported hearing crying noises in the hallway. The school’s creepy history might explain the many ghost stories: Wolfe claims that Deerpark “is built on a site known as Green Gallows. In the 19th century, criminals were hanged here.”
Some insisted that the video had to be fake, and claimed it was made using green screens, or computer editing. “I wish our school had these types of resources,” Wolfe told Today. But almost a month later, Wolfe has more proof of Deerpark’s “ghosts.”
In a new video, the security camera catches a backpack launching off the lockers and a chair being dragged across the floor.
When the first video was released, Wolfe said a medium had contacted him to warn that “something will happen to me one night that will make me a believer,” maybe this is what they were talking about! But the fact-checking website Snopes has their own theories about the Deerpark videos.
They tracked down a photo of the haunted hallway on the school’s Facebook page. As you can see, the security camera that supposedly shot the footage doesn’t match the actual video’s angle. In the newer video, the angle is higher up, as if whoever filmed it has realized their mistake.
There are some other “tells” in the video that reveal the school’s clever editing tricks. A locker door vanishes just before the papers fly out, then reappears. And when a chair is dragged in the second video, the lines on the floor disappear and reappear.
Skeptics say the school was just doing a little promotion for their Halloween “FearPark” event and got carried away. But true believers insist some parts of the video can’t be explained.
Do you believe the school is haunted? Share these videos and tell us!
If you’re not afraid to read creepy stories (like I am), you’ve probably already heard about the Dear David ghost haunting cartoonist Adam Ellis.
The artist, who draws comics for the website BuzzFeed, started sharing his real-life horror story months ago, revealing he had strange dreams about a ghost named “Dear David.”
“So, my apartment is currently being haunted by the ghost of a dead child and he’s trying to kill me,” Ellis wrote on Twitter.
He described Dear David as a misshapen child, who sits in a green rocking chair. Ellis suffers from sleep paralysis, which makes some patients see strange visions while their minds are trapped between waking and sleeping. That’s when Ellis described seeing Dear David.
The artist says Dear David wasn’t threatening at first, but another spirit in his dreams revealed the ghost would answer two questions, and kill anyone who asked a third.
When Ellis saw Dear David again, he asked, “Dear David, how did you die?” The spirit said a store shelf fell on his head. “Dear David, was it an accident?” No, the ghost replied, someone pushed the shelf over.
“Who pushed the shelf?” Ellis asked before he could catch himself. Since asking that third question, Ellis has reported lots of strange things happening in his apartment.
And now the artist is back with what he calls photographic proof of the spirit haunting him.
In the months since his nightmares started, Ellis has cataloged all the strange things happening in his apartment.
His cats started waiting at his apartment door, but only after midnight, as if they could sense a presence standing outside.
Since then, Ellis has recorded waking up with strange bruises on his arms, recorded objects moving on their own on hidden cameras, taped audio of what sounds like footsteps in his room late at night, and other spooky phenomena.
Ellis even resorted to purifying the space with sage to exorcise Dear David’s spirit, but so far nothing has worked.
His latest attempt to “catch” Dear David was successful, but also terrifying. While he was sleeping, Ellis set up a camera programmed to snap a picture every 60 seconds. He says that the first 100 show Ellis sleeping in an empty room. But then…”suddenly, he was there. Standing on the chair at the foot of the bed staring at me.”
Next, Dear David started moving closer.
“He was on the bed, inches from me, staring down at me sleeping,” Ellis says.
“Here’s the final photo on the scroll… I’m at a loss for words. That malformed ear, that stringy hair. I didn’t even know what to think.”
Despite the creepy new evidence, Ellis still refuses to move out of his apartment. We’ll share any new updates to his story, but hopefully there won’t be any, because this is already too scary for us.
Share this story if you believe Ellis is being haunted!
The zodiac calendar has been guiding the actions of civilization for thousands of years, and even today many people look to the skies in order to learn from the stars to figure out unexplainable phenomena in their lives.
Astrology offers answers to the universe using meticulous calculations based on star positions, and seasonal changes in the movement of the planets. However, new data from NASA has revealed that we have been missing out on a long-hidden star sign that will alter the entire field.
Ophiuchus, “The Serpent Bearer,” is the latest addition to the Zodiac calendar, and this means that the other 12 signs will have to move over to give it room.
Here are the newest dates, according to NASA;
Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11
Pisces: March 11-April 18
Aries: April 18-May 13
Taurus: May 13-June 21
Gemini: June 21-July 20
Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23-29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20
Are you now part of the Ophiuchus Zodiac? Here’s what that means for you!
If you were formerly a Sagittarian or Capricorn, you may have some questions about your newly designated star sign, but it may answer a lot of questions for you.
Ophiuchus, “The Serpent Bearer,” is represented by a man clutching a snake and wielding a staff. He is characterized as a healer, but also one who seeks to rise to higher standing.
Those born under the Ophiuchus Zodiac typically possess a magnetic personality, acting impulsively to achieve their goals, and may even be called power-hungry in their ambition to succeed.
However, at heart you want to heal the woes of society and those around you, trying to remove the wrongs of the world through a position of power.
Does this sound like you?
Share if you know someone who is an Ophiuchus through and through!

You may find that you prefer to spend the winter months hibernating, while in the summer, you’re out and about as much as possible.
The lessons associated with a Bear Spirit Guide include:
Develop your strength and confidence
Learn to take action and leardership in the stand against adversity
Your journey is one of healing and using your healing abilities to help yourself and others
Learning how to ground yourself in high-stress situations
While we all have many lessons to learn, you might notice that there are lessons that seem to repeat themselves through the span of your life.
This continuous loop of the same lesson helps us to strengthen the skills we came into this life to learn and develop.
Mull over which lesson is more important to you.
Keep in mind, the spirit of the bear is most powerful during times of difficulty. It will give you courage to take a stand when you feel afraid.
None of the other weeks can channel their spirit as well as you can, so make sure you take advantage of the spirit of the bear and use it to your advantage to better yourself and the world.
If you were born in the second week of the month, your spirit animal is the graceful horse.
People with the horse spirit animal have a strong personal drive, show passion in the things they do, and have an appetite for life.
You have a strong motivation that carries you throughout your life and will serve you well when projects stall or plans backfire.
The lessons associated with a Horse Spirit Guide include:
Learn to balance between instinct and logic
Understand how to gracefully move through difficult situations
Master your strong emotions, and passionate desires
Despite the fact that horses are domesticated animals, they are symbols of expression.
You have a knack for communicating with people and getting them to like you. That being said, make sure you take advantage of the skill and not the people!
You are especially talented in harnessing the energies around you. Surround yourself with people that elevate you and keep your positive spirit alive.
If you were born in the third week of the month, your spirit animal is the soaring hawk.
Those with a hawk as their spirit animal have keen vision and intuition. You prefer to step back and take a look at the big picture before you can zero-in on the truth.
These birds were once believed to be the messenger of angels and other divine spirits, making hawks an animal you can trust.
The lessons associated with a Hawk Spirit Guide include:
Learn to strengthen your connection to spirit world
Sharpen your focus and define your vision
Develop a sharper sense of timing – trust your instincts.
You can feel the spirit of a hawk taking hold in your life when you have a strong gut feeling about something.
Be careful you never dismiss that feeling or else you might be missing out on an incredible opportunity.
When a door opens for you and you have no idea why it has, take some time and think about the positives and negatives of this new experience.
And always beware of your surroundings, it won’t be too hard since that’s something you’ve always been good at.
If you were born in the fourth week of the month, your spirit animal is the intuitive deer.
People who have deer as their spirit animal are highly sensitive and effortlessly intuitive. You have the ability to deal with challenges gracefully and you take everything in stride.
Always vigilant, you move quickly and trust your instincts to guide you out of tricky situations.
The lessons associated with a Deer Spirit Guide include:
Learn to draw strength from your gentleness
Connect with your inner child and develop compassion for yourself
Practice taking time to regenerate and heal after stressful situations
Develop your listening and observation skills
Deers are also symbols of protection and harmony. Because of this, people may see you as a threat and try to disrupt the peace.
Just because you’re kind it doesn’t mean that you don’t think about yourself. You know that the only way to love other people is to first love yourself.
Make sure you’re the change you want to see in the world because other people are counting on you.
They need the gentle nature of a deer to help inspire them and give them the confidence to see life in a different and more positive perspective.
In this day and age, it’s not exactly uncommon to hear stories about paranormal sightings from people worldwide, and even less so to see some kind of photographic “evidence” about it. Hell, cartoonists are even providing video documentation about their haunted apartments these days…
Still though, it’s always entertaining and genuinely scary to see what people have encountered, and while some are very obviously fake, there’s enough out there to make you wonder just what’s going on. I mean, probably nothing, but there’s enough people who devote themselves to researching this stuff that there’s gotta be something behind it, right?
Well, this most recent incident might make a believer out of even the most skeptical of people. A man photographing the ruins of an old castle in the UK captured a mysterious figure on film, and experts are stumped as to what it could be…
The photo was originally taken by Jon Wickes at Eynsford Castle, located in Kent in the UK, as Bustleexplains. He took lots of photos with his son, but the big surprise came when he was going through them later on and found THIS:
“I was quite surprised when I first saw the picture,” Wickes told Daily Mail. “I saw the image with the figure in it and looked on the web. That’s when I read about a monk being seen in area. I’m not really sure about that sort of the stuff. I asked a paranormal investigator what he thought and he went down there [last week] to check it out.”
“When I showed my son he looked at it and just laughed, but because I was certain that figure hadn’t been there when we took the picture, it was worth investigating. When I posted the image online on a paranormal group, there were suggestions that it was just a hole in the wall, but someone has actually gone there to take pictures and confirm that’s not the case.”
Local lore actually HAS talked about a black-robed monk wandering the area, crazily enough.
Have you ever been sitting around on the couch, or laying down in bed, just relaxing with your furry four-legged friend? Has your cat suddenly started intently staring off into the corner of the room, rapt with attention when there is clearly nothing in your field of view? What has grabbed their attention so thoroughly?
How many times has your cat started tearing around the house, chasing after something that doesn’t seem to be there? What in God’s name has them acting like an animal possessed, are they seeing specters from beyond the grave? Scientists have proven that cats see far more than humans, even if they aren’t looking through the door onto the “other side.”
Your eyes are filled with tiny parts known as rods and cones. Rods help us see in low light, while cones help us in see in brightness.
We may be able to see in more colors than cats can, but they have six times more rods in their eyes than humans have in theirs. This makes them able to see in pitch black the way we see on a bright sunny day. So, if your cat is going absolutely bananas late at night, which let’s be honest, happens every night, they are likely viewing things that are not perceptible to the human eye, like light reflected from windows or simple dust floating through the air.
Have you ever wondered what “cat vision” looks like..? Keep reading to find out.
Photographer, Nickolay Lamm wanted to try and create the field of a cat’s vision through his photos. He spoke to a lot of experts in order to get the information he needed to make it happen. He then edited his photos to give us a realistic look at the world through the eyes of a cat.
Notice in this one, which was shot in a brightly lit area, that the human eye sees color and brightness far better, and that the cat is forced to see in shades of grey and yellow. But when we look at the next picture, shot in near total darkness, the cat has the clear advantage.
Imagine what we would be able to accomplish if we could see through the night as if it were simply a cloudy winter day?
Cat’s eyes can also see in a number of spectrums that we as humans cannot, like ultra-violet light. This is the wavelength that is responsible for the massive sunburn you got when you fell asleep outside last summer. This means that your cat could be watching an epic kaleidoscope of color going off in your living room while you are none the wiser.
It would be cool to think that cats can see through the veil and view ghosts, but we can’t prove it either way. Just know that the next time you catch your cat staring at a wall, or off into space when you can’t see anything there, they are more likely to be watching a light show you can’t even imagine as opposed to staring at ghosts.
