Every Canadian of a certain age will immediately recognize this song. Sure, it’s a little strange, but for a while, it was everywhere on Canadian television. It was a buffer between daytime television shows, a music video and a commercial.
It’s kind of like a creepy cartoon version of the Canadian Heritage Minutes minus the educational aspect. It’s pretty much got everything though: plaid, moose, a dancing beaver and, of course, log drivers.
If you grew up in Canada in the ’70s, you can probably sing every word – even if you’ll never admit it.
