Maxx Crosby Reveals Heartbreaking Stance On Davante Adams Drama

Last Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders suffered yet another disappointing setback, as they fell to the rival Denver Broncos by the score of 34-18.

The game started positively for the Raiders, who jumped out to a 10-0 lead early on. However, their fortunes quickly turned, and they now find themselves with a 2-3 record after just five weeks of a tumultuous season.

Adding to the team’s woes, six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams has expressed a desire to be traded, and it seems very likely that he’s played his last down in Silver and Black.

The situation was brought to a head in a heated post-game interview with defensive end Maxx Crosby, who was asked about the drama surrounding Adams and the disruption it’s caused for the team.

“It is what it is. You think I’m not used to this sh*t going on? It is what it is. I’ve been dealing with it my whole career.” Crosby frustratingly said.

“Davante’s my boy, I love Davante, he’s going to do what he’s going to do … Pray for him. Wish him the best. He’s not healthy right now – he’s got to get healthy.

“We’re focused on the Raiders, you know what I mean? We’re focused on who’s here now. We’re focused on winning.”

You have to feel for Crosby who is undoubtedly one of the best and most loyal players in the NFL. He desperately wants to help build a winner in Vegas and he knows losing Adams would be a major setback for the franchise.

His comments echo the sentiment of many within the organization who aim to prioritize the team’s performance amid external pressures.

Recent reports indicate that the Raiders are eager to finalize a deal for Adams within the next few days.

The leading contenders are the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints. Of course, Adams’ familiarity with the quarterbacks of both those teams (Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr) has a whole lot to do with it.

As the Raiders navigate these trade discussions, they are also preparing for a crucial Week 6 matchup against the 3-2 Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Adams is most likely a goner, Crosby is focused on turning the season around for his beloved Raiders.

What are your thoughts on all of the Adams rumors? … When it’s all said and done, where will he end up???
