Lane Kiffin & Jaxson Dart Bashed By Star Player’s Wife

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has been under increasing scrutiny from the Rebels’ fan base in recent weeks, following a string of performances that have left many disappointed.

Among those showing frustration is the family of one of the team’s top offensive players, tight end Caden Prieskorn.

During Ole Miss’ bye week, the team shared photos from practice on social media, including an image of Prieskorn carrying the football.

However, it wasn’t the picture that caught attention, but a comment from Prieskorn’s wife, Cali.

She made her feelings clear regarding her husband’s limited involvement in the offense, writing on Instagram, “Hopefully we can see 86 get more than one ball next game.”

Prieskorn’s role in the offense has visibly diminished this season.

In last week’s heartbreaking 29-26 loss to LSU, he registered just one catch. The week before, he managed a single 13-yard reception.

In fact, Prieskorn hasn’t posted more than one catch in a game since Ole Miss’ matchup against Georgia Southern on September 21.

So far this season, Prieskorn has 12 receptions for 203 yards and one touchdown.

In contrast, last year he was a standout player with 30 catches, 449 yards, and four touchdowns. Before transferring to Ole Miss, Prieskorn excelled at Memphis, where he posted 48 receptions for 602 yards and seven touchdowns in his final season.

Given the current struggles with the Rebels’ offense, there are calls for Kiffin to re-evaluate the team’s strategy and perhaps make Prieskorn a more central figure in their passing game.

Entering the season, Kiffin’s Rebels were predicted by most people to make the CFB Playoff.

However, with two losses already on their resume, there is clearly no margin for error. A third loss would surely put them on their death bed.

What are your thoughts on the frustration in Oxford? … Will Kiffin and Jaxson Dart be able to turn things around and get the Rebs back on the playoff track???
