Maxx Crosby Breaks Silence On Shocking Lions Rumors

Just as the Las Vegas Raiders seemed to find some relief after trading star receiver Davante Adams, the team now faces a new wave of trade rumors.

This time, the focus is on standout pass rusher Maxx Crosby, who in many ways is the ultimate face of the franchise.

There is growing speculation that Crosby could soon find his way to the Detroit Lions, who are looking to fill the enormous shoes left by injured star Aidan Hutchinson.

Crosby addressed the juicy rumors on his podcast, “The Rush.”

The three-time Pro Bowler expressed frustration over the reports that have intensified since last week. The rumors have gained momentum, especially among Detroit Lions fans, following the heartbreaking injury to Hutchinson.

“Now it’s like they’ve started a whole pandemonium a whole movement, like a revolution,” Crosby said of Lions fans. “I’m sitting here innocently just doing what I do. … I got to like address it with it my teammates.

“I’m not tryna leave,” Crosby added. “I know it’s a f*cking business. I don’t have 100% control of all that. I want to be here (Las Vegas). I want to be Silver and Black. I’ll say it loud and f*cking clear.

“I want to be a Raider. I’ve said that over and over and over again. But yeah, it’s a business part of it too. I don’t have 100% control of that, but I know at the end of the day just seeing all the craziness it’s been f*cking insane.”

Despite his strong stance, Crosby acknowledged the uncertainty that comes with the business side of the NFL.

The rumors linking Crosby to the Lions have gained traction for several reasons. First, the Lions are in desperate need of a pass rusher after Hutchinson suffered a broken leg in the team’s Week 6 win against the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition, Detroit fans have been pushing for their team to pursue an elite pass rusher from a struggling franchise, with Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett also being mentioned as a possible target.

Beyond his on-field dominance, Crosby’s Michigan roots add to the intrigue for Lions fans.

Born in Michigan, Crosby later moved to Texas, but went on to star at Eastern Michigan University, which is just 30 minutes from Detroit.

This local connection has made Crosby an appealing option for Detroit fans eager to see their team make a bold move.

However, despite the speculation, Crosby appears committed to staying in Las Vegas.

Raiders owner Mark Davis also addressed the rumors last week, firmly stating that a trade involving Crosby is “just not happening.”

For now, it seems Crosby’s future remains in Las Vegas, and while trade rumors may continue to swirl, the Raiders seem determined to hold onto their defensive star.

As for the Lions, their search for a pass rusher continues, but Crosby doesn’t appear to be heading to Detroit anytime soon.

Having said that, much crazier things have happened.

What are your thoughts on Crosby’s comments? … Despite his public stance, do you think there’s any realistic chance the Lions pull off a trade for Mad Maxx?
