Snoop Dogg Embarrassingly Outed As Steelers “Fraud”

Snoop Dogg, a well-known figure in the music industry and a self-proclaimed die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, has found himself in hot water after old photos surfaced that challenge his long-standing loyalty to the Black and Gold (or yellow depending on who you ask).

On Sunday night, Acrisure Stadium was filled with excitement as the Pittsburgh Steelers faced off against the Dallas Cowboys, one of the NFL’s most historic rivalries.

Among the thousands of fans in attendance was Snoop Dogg, sporting a custom Steelers letterman jacket and waving the iconic Terrible Towel, much to the delight of the crowd.

The Steelers’ official social media account even shared a video of the rapper hyping up fans, cementing his status as a prominent member of “Steelers Nation.”

Despite being born in Long Beach, California, Snoop has repeatedly expressed his deep-rooted love for the Steelers, claiming his fandom dates back to the 1970s.

During a recent interview on the ManningCast with Peyton and Eli Manning, Snoop reminisced about falling in love with the Steelers’ style of play as a child.

“I fell in love with their great defense, the way they move the ball, just the way they play football in general, it was fun to watch as a kid,” he said.

“As I became an adult, I fell more in love with them because I got the chance to meet the players, I got to meet Coach Cowher and Ben Roethlisberger and Jerome Bettis and the rest of the guys, and you know, I became a part of Steelers nation.”

However, social media warriors were quick to cast doubt on Snoop’s loyalty after old photos surfaced online.

In one widely shared image from the 1990s, the rapper is seen proudly wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey – specifically, a Deion Sanders #21 jersey.

Another image shows Snoop sporting a Michael Irvin Cowboys jersey, sparking backlash from Steelers fans who argue that no true Steelers supporter would ever be caught wearing Cowboys gear, especially during those years.

The revelation has left many questioning Snoop’s fandom, with doubters accusing him of being a “bandwagon fan.”

“No Steelers fan would every put on a cowboys gear. I laughed when I saw him come out last night because I remember Snoop wearing Cowboys sh*t all the f*cking time.”

“Love Snoop but he be lying his ass off.”

“I’ll never wear a Dallas jersey, even in the jersey era, I could never bring myself to it being an Eagles fan. Go Birds.”

“Wait, I thought he was a Raiders fan?”

“Snoop Dogg is on TV rn talking about how he grew up a diehard Steelers fan. Seems legit.”

We all know how popular the Dallas Cowboys are. After all, they aren’t called “America’s Team” for nothing. (Having said that, it was actually the Steelers who were the original “America’s Team” before they turned the tag down.)

As many fans point out, no matter how “cool” it was to wear a Cowboys jersey, no true Steelers fan would ever be caught dead in one.

What are your thoughts on the controversy? … Do you consider Snoop a TRUE steelers fan after seeing this damning evidence???
