Notre Dame Receives Massive Recruiting News

As in-season recruiting heats up, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are looking to make the most of its home-field advantage.

This weekend, the team will host Miami (OH) for their second game of the season at Notre Dame Stadium, with several high-priority recruits expected to attend.

Hopefully for Notre Dame, things will go smoother than their first home game against Northern Illinois.

Two key prospects making their way to South Bend are Washington athlete T’Andre Waverly and Georgia athlete Antavious Richardson.

Both players have caught the attention of the Irish coaching staff and are being viewed as important targets.

Richardson, who is currently committed to South Florida, is now drawing interest from several major programs, including Notre Dame.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, he is listed as the No. 437 overall prospect in the nation. At 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, Richardson is being recruited primarily as a defensive back.

Waverly, ranked No. 385 overall by the same service, offers an intriguing physical profile.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds, the Washington native is versatile, with the ability to play either tight end or wide receiver depending on team needs.

Securing campus visits from both recruits is a significant development for Notre Dame, as they work to impress potential future stars.

Of course, Notre Dame fans are most concerned about the current team and what happens on the field.

Coming off a spectacular performance on the road against Purdue, Irish fans are hoping Marcus Freeman’s team can continue the momentum.

Despite the hideous loss to Northern Illinois, do you think Notre Dame will still end up making the playoffs???
